Good place to have a beer but not the best for food. It is ok but not as fresh as I hoped for. The terrace is big and is always full with good weather.

we visited this restaurant three times over xmas and new year and found the food and wines to be very good if the service was a little slow at times, it was very popular with the locals always busy but we found the food we chose to be very tasty and the wines reasonably priced

We met a friend who lives in Malaga here. He has been to the original Gorki several times and thought the harbour location would be a plus. However, the food at this branch is quite different. Overall the food was bland but we sent the jamon back, completely agree with kattyukres, it tasted rancid.

We all arranged to meet here by the harbour for what we thoght would be a pleasent Tapas-style meal but were disappontied.
The service was slow and the staff showed their indifference!
The wines were passable but limited.
When we ordered and received the Jamon we were shocked as the meat/fat was very badly "off"...when we complained the staff just shrugged their shoulders ...but we knew what we were talking about.....so beware.

On the recently developed quayside having restaurants going from Indian/Mexican fusion to top of the range Michelin type food, Gorki fills a niche for Spanish food in an unassuming manner. The menu ranges from light snack to main meals. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The wine good, we had a rosado from Navarra for under ten euro a bottle, and very pleasant it was. Good to sit on a warm evening watching the Spaniards and the ships and yachts.Only negative the British couple worse the wear for drink. The first we had seen in a week in Malaga, but one too many.
