I booked this hotel based on the reviews I'd read, and it is as it says, a perfect location. We arrived very early having got a 6am flight from Luton, and despite not officially being able to check in before 1pm, our room was ready and the hotel was very accommodating letting us in.
We just wanted a base from which to explore the city and surrounding area, and this is ideal being a 5 minute walk to the Malaga Central station - 1 stop to the main Maria Zambrano station connecting to the rest of Spain.
We only had breakfast in the hotel, eating out the rest of the time. But the breakfast was good, lovely fresh bread with cheese & meats. Neither of us had a cooked breakfast, but it was available.
The rooms are a wee bit old fashioned, but we liked their charm. The bath/shower all worked well and it was very clean.
We made the mistake of leaving the window and shutters open overnight as I didn't want to use the air conditioning when the outside temperature wasn't hot. But the noise was a bit intrusive - it was Easter so a lot more people milling around than usual - and we also got bitten by mozzies. The rest of nights, we closed the windows and slept fine.
We'd def use this hotel again if staying in Malaga, and would certainly recommend it.

I stayed at this hotel, in Sept. 2013, for a Jet2 City Break of 3 days. The location was very central and convenient, and the staff very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, with the safe worked from the room key card. I slept well, and breakfast was good and varied. It was all very pleasant, and I would stay there again.

Front facing rooms overlook a very busy and noisy street but with a bit of effort the two sets of window shutters can be secured and will keep the majority of the street noise out. Rooms are clean and comfortable but with very thin walls meant the late night activities of our neighbours were heard in intimate detail. Still the breakfasts was good and we did enjoy our stay in Malaga very much.I know that readers will think that this in my fault but having arranged a packed breakfast [offered to those leaving early] to allow us to catch an early bus we were taken aback to find the breakfast buffet open on leaving the hotel. Arriving at the bus station to find that we had missed our connection we were told that the Spanish clocks had been changed. If the hotel management had really cared about their overseas visitors they would have ensured that the clock change information was made available to them?

Room Tip: Ensure all the window shiutters are used to keep the noise out

We really liked this hotel. We booked through Booking, com and paid £240 for a 4 night stay and for that price its fantastic value.
We were on the 4th floor, round the back of the hotel. The view wasnt much through a small adequate window - but who cares? We use a hotel as a base to stay and arent really interested in amenities etc. Having said that the room was good. The actual bedroom was on the small size but the beds were really comfortable. There was a wardrobe with a safe, a TV and air conditioning. The bathroom had a shower bidet etc. All the rooms were clean and house keeping visited every day. The staff were great too - v willing to help
We didnt have breakfast as there are great cafes nearby, and whilst we didnt eat there in the evening the in-hose sushi bar looked really good.
The hotel is located near the market which is a god place to visit. You can get some good tapas there too. Its only a couple of minutes walk to the main town and everything of interest can be reached within a leisurely 20 - 30 min walk.
if you fly to Malaga - dont get a bus or taxi. Just take the train to Malaga Centro. It costs €1.70 each and takes 12mins. Trains are regular too. From the station its about a 5 min walk.
For us this was a great hotel, in a great location and represents real value. We'd definitely stay there agin!

Nice hotel in a great location near to bars restaurants, attractions etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable but can be noisy at night/early morning due to being city centre and opposite a food market. Several rooms have been double glazed to prevent the noise. The bar opens up into a sushi reataurant in the evening although is closed on sunday evening. Malaga is a great place to visit well recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room which has been double glazed
