Room Mate Lola is situated near to the main shopping area in Malaga and is convenient for visiting the main visitor attractions. Very modern,.minimalist in style with good sized bedrooms and large en-suite bathroom with bath rather than just shower. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of breads, cakes, cheeses, fruit and cereals. The staff are helpful although few in number. On the negative size, there was no balcony to our room and no extra amenities such as a swimming pool or roof terrace. Building work is taking place outside the hotel which can be a bit off-putting but I assume this is temporary. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a city break in Malaga.

We booked this trip at the last minute and were more concerned with price than normal so when we arrived we were surprised to find a very clean, extremely stylish hotel with all the electronic bells and whistles. Of course there are the nagging European energy-saving measures but that's understandable. The hotel bills itself as bilingual but sometimes not so much. Initially location appeared perfect. Reasonably priced and within a short walk of the museums, the beach and the Centro we couldn't have asked for more in terms of location...but we got more. Once the sun goes down we found ourselves in the middle of a red light district complete with streetwalkers and a suspicious looking club or two. Now this may spell 5 star for some but I'd rather have been elsewhere.

We were happy with our room (303) in this medium-size hotel, which has a good location and is decently priced. It is close to the old town, and only minutes walking from both the stop of the Airport shuttle (running about every 30') and the Alameda train station (faster and cheaper). The C/Casas Campos is, moreover, a reasonably quiet street.

The design of the hotel, the room, and the breakfast area are attractive, and the breakfast itself was very satisfactory. I have to agree with one other reviewer, though, who commented that the people in the hotel could be a tad more warm and welcoming..

One point of criticism: There was no folder in the hotel room providing the standard information about breakfast times and other services. I would also have appreciated a manual for the TV. Although I tried all combinations of all buttons on the two remote controls, I did not manage to get sound ;-)

One warning: while the bed-lamps are beautifully designed, do not inadvertently touch the lamp: it is blazing hot.

They have a very high level of detail, for those who love it! With little notes and things to find all over. Quite room, very friendly and helpful staff. Malaga is also a very nice place to visit, check it out!

Design of the hotel is very fascinating. For the modern art lover this hotel fits perfect to stay. The room is big and and clean. staff are nice and helpful too. wifi is accessible only n the lobby but otherwise nithing bad about the hotel.

A walking distance to the city, actually it's located right in the center of Malaga.

15 minutes walking distance to Malagueta beach and the port is just at the back f the hotel!
