Located in city centre. Bus stop at you door step. Cafe and Kebab shop next doors.
Local Perfume shop at the back. Girls visit Primor shop..great for makeup and perfume thingys..My wife and daughter loved the chain store.
Mercadona at the street crossroads. Beware closed on Sundays. Plenty of small shps to get daily groceries.
Fruit shops with great tasting fruit and wide selection.
Bus will take you to shopping ALAMEIDA area...shopping,,food ,, beach historical places walking distance from there..
Pool advertised is tiny by any standards, good only for a dip...
Appartment roomy, well equipped but hot in summertime. 2 aircon units in living and main bedroom barely enough to cool the place if you keep doors open between rooms..
One small bedroom next to kitchen and the kitchen itself are hot no matter what time of day. This July was not very hot as per locals.. Fans are tower fans and are dying...not enough.
Would be better in winter i guess. Hostess is nice lady. She got the Aircons fixed within 2-3 days but was hot without them working. we had to leave windows open at night.
It is fine during daytime, a bit noisy which you would not notice.
Early risers would be okay as shops open early and you can hear noise off the street early in the morning along with the garbage lorries..
Plus points,,,Easy to commute from. Nice fruit shops and local bakeries will not let you go hungry. Good wi -fi for addicts.
Better in winters.
You can get taxis easily enough at the crossroads.
Locals do not speak much english and that includes the shops, supermarkets, bus driver and taxi driver. Keep google maps and search handy.
You have nice data connection throughout the city of Malaga.
You can ask landlady for a cleaner for an extra 20 Euros as she is a stickler for cleanliness,,,as we found out later, bin collection everyday from infront of the appartments
Overall lovely city and people very helpful.
The apartment is centrally located and just a 15 minute walk from the old town. The port and beach are a good 30 minutes walk but if you just want a city break this is ideal.
There are three bedrooms. The main bedroom overlooks the street and has air conditioning, the second bedroom overlooks the street and has a tower fan which, due to it's location kept the room cool. The third room however was on the inside of the building block. This area is where all the air conditioning units are attached and the heat from them is immense. The tower fan in the bedroom was not sufficient to keep this room cool and after one night of no sleep the occupants of this room moved to the sofa bed in the living room.
There was also an air conditioning unit in the living room - it probably needs a service though as it wasn't working as well as the one in the main bedroom.
The two bathrooms were lovely and spacious and the kitchen also had all the facilities you needed. We only cooked one night as again, this was on the inside of the building as was also too hot especially if you have the oven on as well.
The pool on the roof, whilst not big, was lovely to visit after a day of sightseeing.
The apartment was across the road from a supermarket, there was a cafe underneath and a takeaway across the road. The bus stop was 30 seconds up the road and taxis were also easy to flag down.

Our party comprised 2 families of 4 and we spent 3 days in the apartment exploring Malaga and the surrounding area.
The apartment owner, Mariola, arranged for us to be picked up at the airport and taken directly to the apartment which was enormously helpful. Mariola went out of her way to make us feel welcome and helped us to get the best out of our three days in Malaga.
The apartment was perfectly adequate for our 3 day stay and the rooftop pool was much needed after a day out in the blistering heat. The location is good for exploring the old town which was a 15 minute walk (with small children) and the port and beach a little further.
