I had heard that Casa Eladio had been renovated both the place and the menu. I decided to give it a try and...... what a discovery!! The chef is young and talented, food is delicious and the service very good. The wine is excellent and prices very good. The tuna tartare with ajoblanco, the home made foie gras, the scallops, the pork cheeks, the red mullet with gazpachuelo (this is to die for), the suckling pig..... everything was absolutely delicious.
Seriously, whoever goes to old town Marbella.... give it a try, you won’t regret.

Strolling Marbella old town we decided to avoid our usual haunts and try something new. We lighted upon Casa Eladio and had a great evening . The service was excellent and food was of a quality you only find in a rare few restaurants around and near Orange Square. We started wit the red tuna tartare which was an outstanding dish, great flavours, then both had fish, one hake and one dorado, both were cooked perfectly.
Only the lack of any white chocolate mousse for dessert was a downer.
I

All round very good, now looking to going back again, definitely in our favourites .

A well thought out menu with something for everyone. Between the long list of appetizers and the seafood & beef main dishes it’s hard to go wrong here. The neighborhood is well worth exploring.

After reviewing all the great reviews of restaurant, we were really looking forward to our dinner there. The omens were not good when we turned up to a near empty restaurant but we had attentive service and things looked positive when we were served a delicious gazpacho-like cold soup for an amuse bouche. The starters were very disappointing - the scallops were small and over cooked and therefore rubbery, the octopus smelt wonderful off the grill but were also rubbery. Main courses were passable and saved by a very good pork loin. For one of our more expensive meals during our week long holidays, this was a let-down.

Visited this restaurant for first time. Nice minimal decor giving understated, relaxed feeling. Menu good choice & wine not too expensive. Family of 3 - husband had foie gras, smooth in texture but my husband said despite it having good flavour he would have preferred texture alittle coarser - his main was
fish of day red snapper alittle dry & lacked moisture from some kind of dressing. Daughter had tuna tartare which she enjoyed followed by nice hake.
I had white prawn & mussel salad which had beautiful fresh flavour & good texture. My main pigs cheek was rich & flavoursome but vegetables were cold. All mains portion size looks small & needs more potatoes & veg to fill out plate. Desserts ok. This place is trying hard to be different - perhaps trying too hard to make food look different on the plate & more thought needed about food & a little less on presentation. Service professional but friendly. It is still early days for this restaurant & the chef but it has promise. Would I return again - yes as it’s not too expensive & it’s different to usual traditional Spanish restaurants in orange square.
