This is a restaurant which not only has amazing food but they welcome children, wheelchairs, prams and all possible diets. We go every year as the service and quality of food is superb. Rebecca is incredible at her job and makes you feel so incredibly welcome. The food is superb, don't know how the chefs keep up the standards year in and out. Maria and Frank always make you feel special too and tend to your every need! If you do one thing in the Costa del Sol, go here!

This is a great restaurant near Orange Square in the old town and the food is always excellent and same goes for the service. It is somewhere we always go when we are in Marbella and it never disappoints!

You will not find better service. Food better than excellent. We had a party of 6 with two children who were well catered for. Marsh mellows with chocolate to follow pasta. More than happy. Grown ups had chicken fish and beef. All excellent. Highly recommended.

Starter: FANTASTIC; the Brie salad type dish that's everywhere now, but executed perfectly. Tingling Balsamic drizzle, etc.
Accompanying Breads: BEST PART OF MEAL. Wasn't going to have wine but had to order glass for these breads alone. Someone there can bake.
Main: VG; a Moroccan Chicken dish; if only it wasn't breast (impossible not to be a bit dry?) but they're probably offering what people want. (Or maybe the dish is always breast.)
Dessert: FANTASTIC; wife and I took too much from each other's choices as we 'shared' a taste.
House Wine (Red): as good as it should have been with this food.
Coffee: as good as it should have been; lovely accompaniment to the dessert.
Kiddie Food: (THEY ATE WITHOUT MOANING! END OF!) But it was also of high quality, not just nuggety or reheated pasta. My daughter's minute steak was tender. Their ice cream was of Haagen Daaz rather than 'HB' quality.
The Waitress: friendly but not overbearing; she knew how much to engage, and when to back off and leave us to have our time together, too.
THE ONE LITTLE QUIBBLING CRITICISM: when it was time to go, she took an age to take my money. The restaurant had got a little busier, but she still should have been able to remember that she'd given me the bill quite some time previously. (I've waited on tables in my time.) None of her workmates responded to my looks, either. Eventually, I went up to the till.
Overall: BEST MEAL OF OUR HOLIDAYS; if you go, you won't be disappointed.

I couldn't fault The Orange tree in any way. We arrived on a so called quiet Monday to find all the outside tables occupied, the helpful host said if we came back 45 minutes later we could have the table we wanted. A wander round the Marbella old town soon ate up this time and we were back at the restaurant.

The helpful host seated us and made us feel very welcome. The menu had a great selection of food at reasonable prices, the wine list the same. We ordered prawns in panko breadcrumbs (the largest sweetest prawns id ever had in Spain) and tuna tataki (a seemingly very popular dish in Spain) -both were excellent, faultless in fact. For mains we had a fillet of Irish (of course) beef and a rack of lamb and again both were perfect with excellent sides. For dessert a chocolate and baileys cheesecake to share hit all the boxes.

Choosing the house wine allowed us to have both red and white for starter and main and both the Verdejo and Crianza house wines were of a very high standard for a house wine, and very reasonable give the size of the measure and the 3.50 price tag.

So, food, wine and setting were absolutely brilliant and it was the service that really still managed to stand out, all three staff we came into contact with were welcoming, informative and friendly.

If it wasn't for the drive home I would have also enjoyed a complimentary caramel vodka to finish, as it was I settled for a great espresso.

Thanks to The orange tree for a perfect dining experience.
