Owner description: This old neighborhood is full of romance, with narrow, winding cobblestone streets: great for evening strolls.

We loved walking around Marbella during day and night time. It's a little town and the old quarter is really a must see. You have a mix of nice boutiques, historical buildings and a special atmosphere

Great place to walk round, I could live there thanks. Go to El Estrecho for tapas, drink Cruzcampo in the square, have a wander around the marina.

We visited Marbella in January and the weather was pleasantly sunny and cool. The old quarter was a true joy to walk through with loads of hidden gems, beautiful flower plantations, orange trees and spectacular architecture, all framed by the beautiful mountain range in the background. We went on a Sunday when most of the shops were closed, but eateries and cafés were open for business and we didn't have to fight off other tourists as we looked in the shop windows and enjoyed a leisurely afternoon stroll. You cannot miss this area if you're in Marbella!

there are plenty of restaurants to choose from; thousands of little shops. A place to be discovered by walking.

This year I noticed more bars and restaurants have opened up, a good sign. Didn't have time to eat anywhere but I'll return again. It's touristy but quite authentic too, when I visited here in off season with fewer tourists, the menus and welcome was still the same. Worth a visit and a coffee at least.
