“Lovely apartment in Old Town Marbella”
Reviewed 1 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay in the lovely apartment in the Old Town of Marbella. Rachel, the owner, met us at the apartment and showed us where everything was and how everything worked, and as our return flight was late afternoon Rachel allowed us to stay until it was time to leave.

The location is great 5 minutes from Orange Square in one direction and 5 minutes to Paseo Maratimo the other way.

Would highly recommend this apartment.

“Excellent location to make the most of Marbella”
Reviewed 27 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We decided on a last minute short break and chose this apartment based on it's proximity to the old town and the beach.

The apartment was absolutely perfect - extremely clean and very well laid out accommodation. Plenty of towels and 2 hairdryers (a godsend for 2 teenage girls). The kitchen was very well equipped and the addition of a small food pack was very much appreciated.

Rachel and David are a lovely couple who are to be commended for such a well maintained property.

Our only disappointment...that we couldn't stay longer!

Will definitely be returning here again.

“Nice - practical - excellent location - very quiet”

The location is excellent, just across a street (from which one hears no sounds) and past a Block, and voila, you're on the "Paseo Maritimo", and the Beach. The Beach then goes on all the way to Puerto Banus (a good hour's walk). Along the Paseo/beach, there are myriads of restaurants and small shops. It's also close to bus stops to take you to Puerto Banus, La Cañada (a mall With an AlCampo supermarket (good)), Estepona, etc etc.
The apartment has a very good layout, and unlike many apartments here in the Old Town, it is on one level. Usually here, they are small in square footage, but with 4 floors and steep, narrow stairs. The rooms are spacious and there is ample space to put one's gear. Lots of closets and …lots of hangers!
The beds are very comfortable.
The kitchen is very well equipped, even with a small food processor. There is a washing machine in the outdoor area. There are clothes lines, iron, hair dryer, tv, you name it. Good and s t a b l e Internet Connection - a big plus!

Also, a chest full of toys for kids and a high Chair is there. A very good thing is that there are lots of electrical outlets and "hotel-like" switches to turn off lights from the bed.
Another good thing is that weekly cleaning is included and they come every week to change bed linen and towels. The landlords are very hands-on and don't know what good they can do for you. Even when we called forgetting it is week-end, they would respond very promptly, even for trivial questions.

The apartment is also close to two small, but amazingly well-assorted supermarkets, and an incredible "China store", where one can buy any non-food item under the sun and I mean a n y. 
Lots of restaurants cherished by the locals near-by and several butchers', bakeries, greengrocers' just around the corner.

The landlords can get a driver to meet you at the airport. We knew the driver from before, very reliable and friendly.

We recommend this apartment and hope we can return one day.

“Briliant holiday - lovely accomodation in an excellent location”

We had a great family holiday in Marbella in August 2013. The location and quality of the apartment was a major factor in this. The apartment is exactly as shown on the website and so handy for the beach, restaurants, shops and public transport. Ray was very welcoming and easily contactable for any query we had / assistance we required. I would definitely return again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends or family.

“MUST GO BACK”
Reviewed 29 September 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We stayed in the wonderful Rachel's apartment for 14 days (June 2013) and we can say that we felt at home. The apartment has an exceptional location being very close to Old Town and aa to the famous Plaza de Los Naranjos - Orange Square (just cross the Avenida de Nabeul and get to Old Town). Also very close to the beach and Paseo Maritimo (just crossed Avenida Severo Ochoa). The apartment is well furnished and equipped extraordinary and frankly I do not think he needed something. Facilities are at maximum level and the owners are the most amazing couple I've ever met - full of kindness and solicitude, you can provide (for a fee, of course) in a taxi from Malaga airport or you can arrange tours in Spain or Gibraltar. A place where we come back with the greatest pleasure next year ...
Try a churros at the intersection of Av and Av Sever Nabeul Ochoa. It's great and a lot cheaper than eating in Orange Square.
Make small purchases at the supermarket Coviran av. Nabeul but for larger purchases or visit your Supersol Mercadona.
Also, do not forget to make a visit to La Canada.
The apartment is relatively close and the Plaza de Toros where you can get tickets of a corrida ... weekly during the summer are ...
And do not forget to have fridge full of beer ... it is very cheap and very good ... and what could be more pleasant than a cold beer after returning from the beach?

“Convenient location, all the needed amenities”
Reviewed 10 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

The four of us (two adults, two teenagers) stayed in the apartment for nine days, with a few days spent at the beach, which is a short walk (maybe 100-150 meters) away, and a few days spent making day trips to Tangier (1.25 hour drive to Tarifa), Gibraltar (about an hour drive), Granada (2-2.25 hour drive), Ronda (about an hour drive), etc.

The apartment is well kept, very close to the "old town" area of Marbella and the waterfront, so there are many restaurants and shops nearby. Parking is expensive in the nearby garage and difficult on the street, but Rachel recommended a better garage a short walk away that was cheaper (about 5 euros/day).

We had everything we needed in the apartment (except for a blender, which we have now added - didn't make sense to haul it back to the US with us) for cooking, laundry, beach (towels, chair, umbrella), etc.

Air conditioning worked well, there wasn't much noise, two small grocery stores were nearby (including OpenCor, which has extended hours). Internet access worked well for our collection of devices (laptops, tablets, phones), and the TV service included Spanish and English stations.
