“Will definately be back!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2011

We only went for the weekend for a bit of sun so just wanted something cheap and cheerful and the location was most important. We got the bus for 4.59 euros from the airport to marbella and it only takes 45mins. From there it was 5 euros in a taxi to the hotel.
On 1st impression the hotel was a bit shabby but the rooms are ok and there is a pool on the rooftop - great for chilling out before getting ready for tea.
It is 5 mins walk to the beach and 5 mins into the old town. No taxi's needed! Staff are very helpful and will loan towels for the beach (we only took hand luggage)
Breakfast is very simple - cereals, bread rolls, pastries, jam, pate, tea and coffee. For the room rate it's certainly adequate and set us up for the day.
Don't book if you want 5* luxury as you won't get it but for location this is perfect and we'll go back.
Ps - I'd also recommend the restaurant Bistro Paloma in the old town. THE best place in town by far!

Just a few minutes walk from the exhorbitantly priced old town in one direction and 10 minutes from the central beach area in the other. The staff are nice and speak good English but the rooms are basic as is the breakfast. Has a decent little kitchenette in each room and a great supermarket across the street so you can prepare fresh food and economise too. The pool on the roof is a welcome bonus.

Just returned from our 2nd stay at this hotel. Previously stayed in May 2007. We booked through Travel Junky - 3 nights flights & hotel b&b £135. We took a taxi from Malaga to the hotel, takes approx 45 min and is around 70 euros. On return we took a taxi 6 euros to the bus station and got the bus to the airport for 5 euros. Arrive early to ensure you catch the bus. The staff on the reception desk were helpful. Thr rooms are a bit dated but spacious and clean. They also have fridges. The pool on the roof is great. It never gets too busy and the views of the mountains are lovely. There is a taxi rank 2 min walk from hotel. 10 min walk to the beach. Old town is very nearby also. Puerto Banus is 10min in a taxi and coasts around 10 euros. We found the hotel location a great base for everywhere that we wanted to visit. highly recommended!

A couple of moans......bar closed at lunchtime and didnt open again so there is no place to meet up. No kettle in room so take your own and no cups, two small glasses, but the guys on reception will get you some from the breakfast room, there is a fridge so take ice cube bags for your tipple! /This is a basic hotel but for the money not bad, and not far from the beach, the pool is good too with lovely views and a realy suntrap but with a breeze. Supermarket is two minutes away, and there are some lovely shops to see in Orange Square where it is beautiful. I would go to Marbella again but maybe not this hotel as it was very basic.

Room Tip: Ask for a studio or family room they are very big

This place was just ok. Not much in the way of decor, outdated finishings, no fridge, not exactly clean.
Front desk guy was not very nice (daytime)
Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about
Parking garage was absolutely terrifying - dark & scary
Location was ok.

Drove into Marbella without a hotel in mind and stumbled upon the Marbella Inn. Reasonably priced and included breakfast (mainly pastries but lots of them). Room was standard, fairly clean and comfortable. Parking was available at the hotel but was full when we arrived. We parked on a nearby street. Good location, not far from the beach.

It's said that you only get what you pay for- the Marbella Inn Hotel is the exception. Better than ever expected for the money, The staff were all very helpfull with directions etc. Clean spacious, fresh bed linen and towels on request and good food. The breakfast may have been the continental variety but it was all very fresh and well presented and as much as you could eat. Would be improved by tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. Definately on our stay again list!!
