Great location for most activities in the area, direct access to the beach in short walk, clean grounds and hotel rooms, well signposted if driving in, the only issue there was parking as there was not really much space left for the few hotels in the area for all the guests and as thats the only road in to where the hotel is, it was time consuming and frustrating in the heat.
But the food was nice and we are quite fussy to be honest so was pleasantly surprised and when we arrived late to find a table set up with fresh meals and drinks waiting for us after check in was a lovely welcome gesture.
Poolside activities were fun and we felt welcome among the Spanish. Snacks were readily available including bbq style as well as crisps and popcorn with an array of drinks you can help yourself too at the bar including alcohol also being served by the friendly attendant, as were all the staff throughout, very helpful and caring to be honest.
we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Only 2 things I would suggest
1. A lift as stairs are long and quite steep although in beautiful white marble, all the same
It's tiring and some guests would struggle with them
2. A. CASHPOINT/ATM! The nearest one is at the shops on the edge of the motorway!? and when I trekked up to it, it was out of order awaiting repair, gutted as the next one was as far as Marbella town :-(
Not great when its a cash only towel deposit and you fancy going for a swim but again the staff were obliging to the situation and awaited my promise of the deposit when I returned from shopping later.
All in all a lovely place well kept deservent of it 3 stars but with a 5 star friendliness from the staff

Room Tip: Choose a room with a balcony at the FRONT we were at the back without one at all and missed an amazing view

Yes this is a Spanish hotel and yes this is a 3 star hotel
But 5 star food and cleanliness and helpful and honest staff and excellent value for money
A 2 minute walk to a lovely clean and gorgeous beach
20 minutes walk (5mins in a taxi) to NIKKI beach and 10 mins in a taxi to puerto Banus

this hotel was clean, staff were friendly, food very good and wide variety, all inclusive drinks excellent. however we found out on arrival it was a spainish hotel for spainish guests. We were the only english people there. The staff only spoke limited english however were friendly and as hopefull as possible. Its very near to the beach and the pool was clean. Its about a 10 min taxi drive from marbella centre or 20 mins on bus. Enjoyable hotel but if we would have known about the entertainment all being in spainish the lackof english speaking guests we wouldnt have stayed. It made us feel very uncomfortable not being able to join in and frustrating trying to find out information about the resort. Very busy at the weekends not enough sunbeds for number of guests.

Overall everything was ok, nothing stood out as being above average.
The other guests were all Spanish speakers so we couldn't really socialise until one other English family arrived on our second last day. A number of staff don't speak English. Pool was clean, as was the hotel. Food was ok. Decent selection of drinks included in the all inclusive deal. Our hotel room was dark, dingy and very small, our view was a brick wall!
There were only me and my 8 year old sister travelling, she had an incident where she needed to be taken to hospital for X-ray after a serious bang to the head from the water slide. The lifeguard didn't speak English, he went off to get a receptionist who could translate and then never returned. A helpful guest took us to A&E instead.
All of the kids entertainment is in Spanish so no fun for English speaking kids. The TVs in rooms don't have English channels (not that most people watch tv anyway!).
I feel that we would have had a better holiday had we stayed somewhere else as this hotel is clearly for Spanish families only, it wasn't very welcoming.

We spent a week in this great hotel, the room was good, and the services just perfect, specially Juan Pablo from reception and Fernando from the Chiringuitoo, It is located in very quite place to relax and the beach is one of the best we tried in this coast, i have to say that is no necesary to move from the hotel to enjoy a great holidays.
I highly recomend this hotel.
