Description: Our goal at Pan & Mermelada is to bring to Marbella exactly what we missed back in Montreal, creating a place where no matter where you are from you feel right at home. A place where you can get together with the family for a great truly Canadian breakfast with buttermilk pancakes, Maple syrup and wild blueberries, Benedict & florentines poached to perfection using fresh and local ingredients. The perfect spot to meet up with your girlfriends over cake and coffee or set up a business lunch and spoil your clients. Our lunches will please any palate, mouth watering burgers with no rival in town! We also do all the classic salads and sandwiches. Afternoon tea is a must any day or everyday, although, we must warn you our cakes are addictive! Now, with an onsite bakery and catering facility we are fast becoming Marbellas go to spot for wholesome cakes and creative catering. But most importantly, we are what we are thanks to our amazingly diverse clientele, so thanks you guys for making everyday so much fun for all of us at Pan & Mermelada. Went out of our way to go here for breakfast based on good trip advisor reviews. Unfortunately it was a complete waste of our time. Although the queue for tables wasn't very long, no one acknowledged us or gave us an estimated waiting time as we looked on frustratedly at empty tables waiting to be cleared by staff who were run off their feet. When we FINALLY got our food, it was just average, my pankcakes were dry and tasteless. When paying our bill, the girl at the counter made a point of asking us if everything was ok, to which we replied 'fine' but at that stage we were desperate to just get out of there and get on with our day. Perhaps a better policy would be to ask people how the food is while still at their tables, or when she sees half eaten dishes being retuned to the kitchen. Overall I wouldn't recommend it. The staff were good but for one of the obviously busiest days of the year, far too thin on the ground.

It's my second time now, having breakfast at Pan y Mermelada. I really love the place, the food is great. They made me fall in love with eggs benedict. And also, they owner is so nice. She a young, funny, motivated woman that even makes all the recipes herself! It's great!

I really enjoyed this restaurant, the menu was amazing! I have no faults here at this restaurant and I highly recommend this place... I also recommend the cheesecake brownies as a sweet desert!

We were invited to meet here by friends who are regulars and were pleasantly surprised by the whole set up. The very lovely Canadian owner/manager greeted us in a friendly manner even though the huge bunch of flowers we were carrying were not for her!! The location, ambience, food and pricing is spot on and the staff most helpful. Credit to the owner to have the vision and balls to take the plunge in a sea of bars and restaurants on the coast, most of which fail. This one won't!

We had coffee sitting outside on the pavement. We didn't try the delicious looking pastries and cakes. You can eat in or take-away. All the food looked wonderful.
