We tried Chowkas 'surf and turf' sharing platter and it was very good. Their chilli squid batter is made from riceflour and just so superior to the standard Calamares served everywhere else. Light and so fresh. Somehow the lime and tiny slithers of chilli just complement the squid so much better than the classic slice of lemon and aioli. You are left wanting more instead of groaning and feeling that the oil is practically seeping out your pores!:) Otherwise Chowka is beautifully decorated both inside and out and lovely service from the young Spanish/arabic and half norwegian waiter! Sorry cannot remember your name but it was fun talking to you!
