You simply cannot knock the position and view, if you are going for WOW, then this is it, it could well be the best positioned restaurant in Marbella. The interior decor is stunning, a great mix of Spanish contemporary and Cape Cod. If you were judging on "looks" "feel" "ambiance" and "position" 10 out of 10 no doubt about it.
But unfortunately a restaurant is about the food and wine and how they are served. In fact, that's unfair too, as the service is quite good. So now we are down to Food and Wine! The wine list is ample but somewhat overpriced (well someone has to pay the rent!), the food........
Its such a shame, you can forgive a restaurant for anything, but not its food! It's a haphazard rather disappointing affair. The menu get the juices flowing, everything seems great, its expensive but the description of the food on the menu makes it all worth it (especially when you take in your surroundings) you are feeling SPECIAL, then it arrives....... guys its just not 5 star food, I suppose the best I can equate to is a good caterer at a wedding feeding 500 people; it all seems a bit conveyor belt. 30 Euro for a plate of ham (and not the best Pata Negra I've had by far) is over top too and 90 Euro for a Wagyu Steak or 60 Euro for a US tenderloin is opportunistic to say the least. The place could be the best restaurant in Marbella as it has everything going for it, but in my opinion the food just lets it down,
