“Perfect Service !”
Reviewed 31 July 2009

We have been to this hotel many times before and again it was brilliant !
It is a very small property in the old town so it feels like staying with friends rather than in a hotel.

The rooms are immaculate, very clean, charming with all modern cons (airco, flat screen TV, etc). We stayed in the tower room which is really romantic.

What really sets this hotel apart though is the service. The owners are lovely people trying to accomodate your every need. In the morning breakfast is brought to your room in a picknick basket at your prefered time. On our last day we only left at 6.30 PM. Although our room was not free till then, we were offered to put our stuff in an other room and use it to wash and freshen up (which was necessary after an other day at the beach) and this without extra pay.

Also for dinner, go to Messina which offers world class food or to Il Cantuccio for some great Italian food.

We will definetely be back !

Lovely from the front door to the side breakfast area with the owner's beach art on the walls & many local guidebooks, thru the separating courtyard to halls full of art, to our room, number 4, for more fun art - we had a skylight with little painted doors above our bed, a spiral stair up to the bathroom with a tub to soak & a tiny patio up there to sit & look over the old roof tops in peace & quiet... Yet it so close to old town shopping or restaurants & a short walk to the beach promenande, a perfect location & you could not buy a breakfast this nice either for the price, complete with linens & pottery dishes from a small town in the mountains...just so many nice details all around & the owner, Paloma, along with her mother are the nicest, helpful B&B hostesses I think I've ever encountered...We stayed an extra day & would go again in an instant (to try another room) & will tell all to go there too!

  • Liked — All the little details--the hotel's webpage, art, bio-friendly products, owner & her mom, breakfast...
  • Disliked — A bit difficult to park in the lot nearby & wheel your luggage over...

We really enjoyed our stay in room 2. Very pleasant atmosphere, sitting at the balcony in the afternoon, in this quiet part of marbella overlooking the rooftops was very relaxing. The lady at the reception was very helpful and answered all our questions very patiently! We were sent a nice drawing with directions on how to find the hotel, but we had to turn three times around the block before we could find it! The third time we left our car nearby and decided to walk until we found the street: we realised we would never have found it if we insisted driving around in the car!!! It's a lovely tiny street, very charming just as the hotel.

great views from balcony..the morning breakfast is great..they bring it to you in a basket and starts your day right..

free wifi and computer in the common room...i cant say enough about this place..

NON SMOKING hotel..the owners are great and so nice..its not a luxury hotel..its a great charming clean place to be for a few days while you go explore..

I stayed in 2006 and decided not to give this b&b a review simply because I wanted to keep it all to myself. I have just booked again for summer 2008 - the first time I have ever returned to a place twice, so praise indeed. Not only gorgeous rooms in the heart of old town near orange square, not too far to beach but also with the best restaurant I have ever eaten in just 1 minute walk away "el patio de los perfumes" ENJOY and I am sorry I kept it all a secret.

Once we found the tucked away little street that the hotel is on, we were set. The staff is helpful and directed us toward a free (but not guaranteed to be safe) parking lot nearby -- we did not have a problem with the lot in the three days we stayed there.

We love the charming, warm atmosphere here, and room 5 was terrific -- although, I don't recommend this one if stairs are an issue for you, as there are quite a few to go up and down.

Overall, we loved this cute, friendly place.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting in the old town in Marbella. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 5 which is very spacious, lovely bathroom and great decor. The breakfast is delicious, this place is a haven we will be coming back.
