Stayed at la villa marbella for our 2nd time for our honeymoon. Stayed in Lhasa penthouse, absolutely amazing! Marcos and his staff couldn't do enough for us and nothing any trouble! Catered for all my food intolerances meaning I was relaxed from the very start! We will be back for a 3rd time, in fact I think we've found our yearly holiday spot! Nothing could top la villa marbella... The staff, the surroundings, the decor in the rooms, the relaxing atmosphere.... The closeness to old town.... Just heaven!

I just recently stayed at this hotel with my husband, and its was wonderful from the second we hit the front door. Marco and his team will accomidate you with anything you need. My husband and I were immediately placed in a bigger room than what we had reserved, the Mandalay suite. It was fantastic. In addition to that, my husband really wanted to do a day trip to Morroco, however we had planned nothing specific in advance. Marco and his team set us up with a driver to and from Tarifa to catch the ferry, and also hooked us up with the best guide anyone could ask for while we were in Morroco for the day. We hate tours, so to be with Aziz for the one on one experience completely made the experience worth while. Aside from that, starting with the restaurant suggestions down to what not to miss, the hotel staff made our 3 night stay maximized to the fullest, and very memorable. We can not thank them all enough, and look forward to future visits. Cheers.

This was our second stay at the hotel, our first visit being 3 years ago. This time we returned with our 13 month old son and stayed in the Lhasa room. The room was well equipped (including a small kitchen) and furnished to a high standard. We also enjoyed the private roof top terrace and hot tub.

The hotel is very well placed in the old town with excellent local bars and restaurants being a stones throw away, but no intruding loud music into the early hours. The beach is also easily accessible, just a 10 minute walk through the old town. Local bus stops and taxis are close by to allow day trips, if you a fancy a visit to Puerto Banus or up into the mountains.

Marcos and his team are always on hand to give good advice and recommendations and the level of service they offer is excellent. Breakfast is very good with a wide selection (fresh fruit, tea/coffee, croissants, toast etc, ).

We had another great stay at this top hotel and look forward to seeing Marcos and everyone soon.

This place is not just as good as I'd hoped after reading the reviews - it's even better. There may be bigger and there may be grander hotels, but there isn't anywhere where you will be made more welcome or treated better. Just loved it and will be back next year for a longer stay. Everything about this place is just about perfect including the wonderful location!

Exceptional. Such a special place. The staff are outstanding and so attentive. Marcos and his team are such genuinely nice people and take care of every need. To be served breakfast by Isabelle on the terrace and hear so many other guests enthuse over La Villa Marbella is quite extraordinary and a very rare experience at a hotel anywhere in the world.

We stayed in room Phuket for the second time which is a beautifully appointed room with a luxury bathroom and great bed. Such a peaceful room. And yet, within less than a minute's walk from the front door of the building you can be sat in a small bar having a cold beer watching the world go by.

The old town of Marbella offers so much choice when it comes to dining or just a drink. There really is no need to go further but an easy 5-10 minute stroll will get you down to the main beach of Marbella with many more places including Pepe's on the beach which is a favourite for lunch and Pinxto's for some fun tapas day or night.

Marbella and La Villa Marbella has become a permanent fixture in our calendar for that last late summer getaway and it never disappoints.

A truly unique hotel offering an unrivalled level of customer service. The rooms are individually themed to a high standard. The breakfast around the pool was a pleasant start to the day. The luxury of a hot tub on the balcony made the stay just that bit more special. Overall an excellent hotel from which to explore and enjoy Marbella particularly the old town which oozes charm. Marcos and his whole team are customer services personified 5*

Lovely hotel, lovely bathroom and lovely breakfast and service.

However if you don't like or struggle with an extra firm bed, shy away as our bed was the hardest I've ever encountered. Shame it was late when we arrived or would have asked to move rooms.

Unfortunately if someone is "enjoying" each other's company in the next room you can hear quite a bit including the knocking bed which is a shame to be woken up to. People walking past late at night or early in the morning kept us awake too.

Maybe not a place to sleep but certainly is a nice place and very good location.

Room Tip: Arrive early or enquire ahead for a quiet secluded room with a soft bed
