Well worth seeking out. Going west past Old Marbella the kids guided us there using 3G ! Bit difficult to park but worth it... we had two excellent starters (marinated pork skewers & sausages with lentils) plus 2 excellent Paellas (mixed house & chicken and rabbit) between 4 of us plus a bottle of recommended house Red. a little pricey, but well worth it. Do not miss out - this sort of quality needs support !

Don't do it! This is the worst experience my friends and family have EVER encountered! The rudest staff but more importantly the rudest and most aggressive chef/owner we have ever come across. All we did was ask if there was any bread or bits to pick at as we had been waiting for 20 minutes and the chef/owner came over and started screaming "this isn't a fast food restaurant". It got to the point that we were scared he would throw something at us. We stayed and ate out of pure fear and to add insult to injury the food was inedible. The meatballs were like a rolled up ball of pate and the rest of the food had as much taste and flavour as the bread we eventually got. We all had upset tummies the following day. Don't do it! Don't go

We went here as friends have been before and enjoyed their meal. Was surprised to get a table last minute at 10pm on a Friday night but understood why when we got there as it's a large place.

We got seated inside under an air conditioning vent which wasn't ideal. We ordered 2 bottles of wine and proceeded to order a range of starters instead of opting for Paella. One of the starter was Pan Con Tomate - which is basically just toasted bread with a tomato sauce to spread. We waited around 20 mins for this to arrive and asked the waiter where this was - he replied 'it's in the oven'.

When a few things started to arrive the owner came over - dressed like a celebrity chef in a blue chefs jacket and with a pompous aura around him. He asked 'was there a problem'. We replied 'yes we were waiting 20 mins for the Pan Con Tomate & we haven't been given any bread yet' - we then got an onslaught of abuse. 'THIS ISNT A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT!' in a very condescending, aggressive way. He spat this 4 times at us getting more visibly wound up each time he repeated himself - to the point where the ladies with us who were right next to him were scared. His eyes were bulging, he was doing a weird twitch and quite honestly looked like he was high on cocaine, he looked absolutely insane. We just sat there and looked at each other in utter shock while waiters and him sort of muttered words about us in Spanish every time they went passed our table.

From then we started receive more starters/sharing plates. I can't remember the exact names of the plates but from memory the Pan Con Tomate was distinctly average and would've taken 2 mins to prep - it's a premade tomato sauce and what looked like a toasted hamburger bun - we expected fresh tomato puree not cold pasta sauce. Tuna with tomato and onion was good, but it's Tuna from a jar you can buy at El Corte Inglis. The grilled baby squid was ok - a bit wet, the langoustines were good - but they are a cold cooked prawn, not sure what they exactly did to prep them that makes them worth €25/plate (we ordered a 2nd plate), the meatballs were vile - more like a sort of Pate rolled into a ball and reminiscent of a Heinz meatball from my youth, the goats cheese salad was decent, the goats baked goats cheese was disgusting like a wet watery flan.

Overall a terrible experience, none of us have ever been spoken to like that by a restaurant owner in our lifetime and we've all eaten at most of the worlds best restaurants. No apology, zero hospitality, average food and leaving your guests scared and shocked is not an enjoyable experience when you're paying for a service. Avoid.

The food and particularly the paella is very well prepared and excellent. The staff is very kind and friendly. It is very clean. We also enjoyed the ambiance and the light jazz music. There is a large terrace with trees around although it is close to the city centre. We highly recommend this restaurant.

A real paella in a very nice place in Marbella.
The place is nice indoor (New York loft style) as well as outdoor (nice remote terrace downtown).
Paella is cooked as you order so you have to be patient for half an hour but it is worthwhile. Paella looks ( and taste) like in Valencia.
Service is kind an efficient, the chef is taking care.
125€ for 5 people wine included. Not cheap in Spain but justified.
