Description: Bar with an Spanish situated in the heart of Marbella and particularly noteworthy for its long list of TAPAS and small portions of traditional cuisine with an original touch. With excellent service and a search constant authentic flavors, along with the love that we waste in its production. We take great care to create a cosy environment and pay close attention to every last detail. Aside from its splendid winery, Savor the WINES, distinctive home. Our specialty is roast LAMB and SUCKLING (with designation of origin of Castille) cooked in a oven.

A very pleasant experience. The owner was warm and helpful while my elderly mother slowly made her choices. He gave us a sample of his potato omelette which was delicious (until then all the others we had tried were not so good). We both had my new favorite, moricilla---stupendous! As were the lamb chuletas, just amazingly good! The wine and other tapas we had were equally as good. I am pleased that we followed others advice and ate at Tierra Aranda---we will return!

We heard about this place online and it definitely didn't disappoint - great cosy atmosphere with friendly service from the owner, would recommend the chakta, stuffed mushrooms and curry chicken though everything they've got is well-prepared and looks very appealing to the eye and appetite!

As others have said its a little hard to find, but worth persisting. The are several interesting bar to explore in the old area of Marbella. The bar is quite small but that means its more intimate and the owner can be more interested in what you want. We had a selection of tapas and they were all very tasty. I had a beer and my wife had some wine and both were very good. As others have also said some food is heated with a microwave but don't be put off by this, the food is kept well in a display fridge. Its good value compared to some of the more trendy locations. If you don't go for your evening meal as we did its probably great for an afternoon beer and nibble of food.

Infinitely better option that it's highly over-rated neighbour Bar Estrecho, this spot is a great little place to pop in on a tapas trail. Excellent wines, and very good tapas. I know it's a bit off putting to see such liberal use of the microwave, nonetheless these tapas are high quality. I was particularly impressed with the chicken curry, something you don't see in too many Spanish places. The owner is knowledgeable and warm (at least if you speak Spanish, I can't tell to the non-speakers) and takes his own good time, which is fair enough.
Skip Bar Estrecho and go to TierrAranda and La Nina de el Pisto next door for some good tapas on the trail around Marbella old town!
