My partner and I went to El Sabor, and then we went back the next night and we have never looked back. The food was and is simply spectacular!
I would like to start with saying that I am surprised at the previous reviewer's comments since being Swedish myself I have, for obvious reasons :), had plenty of Scandinavian food and this is top notch quality! I am not sure s/he has commented on the right restaurant since there were no typically "Spanish plates",except gambas pil pil which is lovely, nor omelette on the menu but ho hum on to the review.
First I would like to say that I am gluten intolerant and not only do they have gluten free bread here but the chef went out of his way to give me the widest choice possible of dishes. I am recently diagnosed and I can tell you there was no difference in taste at all!
My partner however had "normal version" of food and he was delighted and I believe the comment was "I had no idea this could be so good".
We have tried quite a few things, amongst others the salmon soup which was outstanding and very filling as was the mushroom soup (a real burst of "home" for me), goat's cheese sallad yummy!, salmon a la plancha which was simply delicious, not to mention the salmon lasagna; spectacular (according to my partner :). I could go on and on but I wont and instead I will just say that so far we have had nothing bad there only outstanding food.
I also think it is worth mentioning the decor...
If you have a bad back this is the place for you!! In Spain you can often find that the chairs are less than comfortable, however not so in this case. It is clear that time and money has been spent on the selection, I say that as a person with chronic backproblems and I could sit through an entire meal and then get up without problems.
As for price I think it is very reasonable, as a matter of fact I think it is cheap for what they serve.
