I have never stayed in an hotel with so many things to offer and so little done to inform you about them and encourage their use. Example: there was no information in our room; and when we requested a booklet, we were assured one would-be sent to our room but none was forthcoming. Two promises to repair the fridge were not kept. There was no overt concierge location: in fact the man who I thought was door attendant and garage assistant turned out to be the concierge! When we found out after a couple of days that there is a kettle service available- see previous comments - but no-one could give us a straight information: the first person we asked told us to contact some one else: that person did not know either who then told us to ring a number the next day but there was no certainty in the reply there either. Information about towels for the pool had to be sought from reception: even though waiting for one person to check in took 10 minutes before we got our answer.
Location and food were excellent. Even though it was a buffet there were significant changes each day in what was offered. Room was comfortable. Friendly reception and staff, especially in the restaurant. No-one advised us that the hotel ran its own lift from the beach to Torremolinos centre: when we found this out it saved many minutes and queues compared to the public one.
The general ambience of the hotel was excellent.

Room Tip: Higher rooms would appear to be quieter. Pre-booked parking, even at 18 Euros per day - is good val...

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights last November.
We had a very comfortable room overlooking the pool and out to sea. The room had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
The reception staff were very helpful as we had e-mailed for a high floor and we were delighted to be on the top floor!
The breakfast menu was wonderful and had the nicest coffee I have had in any hotel ever.
We were Half Board and enjoyed our evening meals too.
My apologies for this review being so late!

Room Tip: All rooms have a wonderful view.

Very nice, comfortable and well located hotel. All staff were friendly and most helpful - reception, restaurant, pool side and housekeeping. Nice buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Good room facilities - comfy bed, safe, and nice bathroom. Agree with a previous comment - wish Spanish hotels would provide tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

We had a 6 night stay in this 4 star hotel. We chose this after staying in the Melia in Alicante last year. The spa looked good although we didn't use it. The pool looks small but was rarely too busy due to being so close to the beach! Food was excellent (Breakfast)

We stayed here for 10 nights on our recent holiday and have to say that it was a very positive and pleasant experience. The hotel was modern and comfortable with a large welcoming foyer and rooms that were large and well appointed. The beds were also quite comfortable - although twin rather than double beds available.

indeed I have to say that the whole experience was good .... except that it was all a little impersonal. No one asked us throughout our entire stay how we were getting on, were we enjoying our stay, or whether there was anything that we needed/wanted! Breakfast was served in a large dining room each morning and considering that they were catering for such large numbers, it was an exercise in efficiency! The food was self service , plentiful and fresh - however the noise from the constant movement of chairs was amplified by the low ceiling and marble floors and was sometimes a little loud.

For those of you not familiar with Torremolinos, the beach area is separated from the town by several sets of steep steps and a public lift (nominal charge of 30c each way . The hotel provides another lift service up to the town (for 50c) but closes at 8pm which was very early for those of us who wanted to taste the night life offered by the town.

Last piece of advice - there is a bank of 3 lifts to each floor - ask for a room away from these as in such a large hotel, the lifts are going night and day!

My wife & I stayed for 6nights in July on B&B basis booked through British Airways. The hotel is well located near bars & restaurants plus the beach is opposite. THe centre of Torre is up hill but you can get a left most of the way but the climb is not to bad with many shops etc to lok at on the way up. The hotel is large but the front of house service is really goods. WE had a standard room that was more than adequate with a comfy bed plenty of cupboards plus a free safe. there is also a mini bar with room for your own water etc plus a decent television although only two English channels. The bathroom was good with modern taps and plenty of decent towels. The morning breakfast was more than adequate with something for everyone. The fresh fruit selection inb particular was very good. Note our BA flight & hotel was cheaper than Monarch and £20.0 more than Easy jet. But with BA you get 23 kilos plus fee drinks and a snack that would cost both ways on Easy jet of at least £40.00. I think we get sucked in by so called low cost operators that in reality are know different than the legacy carriers. I would stay again at this hotel without question.

Room Tip: make ure you have a seaview but think that all rooms have that

Stayed in this hotel twice. Its very good. This time we treated ourselves to s suite. The balcony is superb , it enormous with great sea views, sunbeds and tables and chairs. There are 2 rooms both with tv, which you can change the language to english on some channels. We got free wifi. The breakfast is on til 11am if you fancy s lie in. Food great, but not much in the way of entertainment so we had to head out.If I must, I would say the furniture could be up to a higher standard, wardrobe door a bit wonky, and the fridge handle was the key! Not so grest for a suite. Why oh why do Spanish hotel not provide tea making .Last point although all rooms have sea views its a side view and a lot are in the shade, so no sun. If you want sun get a suite.

Room Tip: Aif you want a great view and plenty of sun on the balcony get a suite, otherwise its a bit hit and...
