My second trip to this hotel in 6 months, with another booking already made for May. Great location, very good food, clean rooms, helpful staff and tremendous value - perfect place for a cheap winter/spring break.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the square tend to be quieter.

Even though the temperatures in Torre were not too summery, the rooftop glass enclosed poll added a recreational high to a decent room, a sunny balcony and a great breakfast service. Would be even better in spring/summer.

This hotel is situated very close to shops, bars, restaurants and about 400yards from train station. Our room was on 1st floor with great view of pool. All inclusive good with everything you could want for soft drinks, hot and cold snacks, alcohol and water. Restaurant food excellent quality, great variety, unlimited bottles of wine with meals. Hotel livens up at weekends with locals, gives a great atmosphere. Made some great friends, had a great week, would gladly return. Great price with LowCostHolidays.com.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly if they were treated with the respect they deserve for all their hard work.
The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and tidy with comfortable beds.
The food was the usual sort of buffet service, with a good selection, although the dining room was slightly disorganised and we felt we had to walk a lot between each type of food station, especially at breakfast time. The food was hot and varied. Christmas lunch was excellent for fish and seafood lovers, but somewhat disappointing for meat only eaters. The rest of the meals were suitable for most palates. The snack bar had the best snacks we have seen on an all inclusive break.
The main criticism, especially on our first evening, 23 December, was the queue for the lifts (we were on the top floor!) There was also a long queue to get into the dining room once a table became free.
Also, on our first evening there was a 20 minute queue to get a drink at the one bar that was open. (Each customer limited to two all inclusive drinks, per visit to the bar.) However, during the remainder of our stay, the second bar was open in the evening and no queuing was necessary.
Despite it's reputation, Torremolinos was actually a very, quiet, pretty place to walk around and the hotel was only a short, but fairly steep, walk down to the beach and it's lovely promenade with plenty of coffee and eating places.
Lovely place in the winter, but not sure what it would be like in the height of summer!

Room Tip: Top floor rooms were quieter and away from the smokers on the patio area. We had room at the rear o...

Stayed at this hotel 7/feb until 10/feb. room and food good. Only had entertainment Fr iday and Saturday night which was a Spanish singer who entertained all the Spanish people who were there, we enjoyed it at first but after two nights we had had enough!Nothing after that and no afternoon entertainment which is unusual in an all inclusive hotel! There is an indoor pool on the top floor but no changing room so we couldnt use it as would of had to go through the hotel with our wet clothes on to get to our room to get dry and changed. Hotel in a good spot with train and bus stop a short distance away and beach nearby. We had a nice time and would go back again

Stay the Gran Hotel Blue Sea for 7 nights in January with bed and breakfast +dinner, the room is o.k. for me. the staffs of front desk and restaurant are excellent , very helpful and friendly. Unfortunatley , the foods is a big let down. most of cooked vegetables are frozen foods. fish and meat as well. you can taste it's different. The biggest problems for us is that the show cooking place is a pain in the neck. Every time we went to the restaurant and come back with full of smoke on the clothes. The extractor fan is not turn on or out of work. It cause us have to go to shower after breakfast or dinner. As a 4 stars hotel with this kind of problem is really unacceptable. The hotel location is wonderful and bed is comfortable. This is my 3rd time visit Torremolinos , choice this hotel because the location close to the railway station. If you don't want hire a car in the airport to hotel then from airport to the hotel is 18 minutes by train. Go to Mijas or Mabella by bus is really easy. Money exchange for best rates is the near by hotel call Ruben Exchange ,also the best price for excursion day trips to Gibralta, Granada,,,,,,,,.
