“Fantastic hotel! Great friendly staff! Made our holiday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 March 2014

Stayed here for 4 nights and was made up. Such a lovely hotel for a first visit to the area.

So close to the train station, I would suggest getting the train from the airport and save yourself a small fortune. When you come out the train station you can't miss it.

The rooms are very comfortable and house keeping impeccable.

It is also right in the centre of town.

We'd had a problem with one our party and the hotel staff could not do enough to help.

Food was great and the breakfast was more than you could ask for.

I can't recommend this hotel enough, will definitely be going again.

The bar is a joke slowest service ever smallest beer glasses in history limit to two drinks can be ordered at a time spoil what could be a good hotel.
Hotel in good location for train link to Malaga airport and other resorts like Fuengirola train is very cheap and easy to use

We stayed at the end of February beginning of March, on arrival the gentleman on reception was very efficient, friendly and helpful. To our surprise we were informed that drinks were complimentary with lunch and dinner, wine, beer, sangria and soft drinks. The hotel was very busy as there was a dance competition in Torremolinos that week but with the service we received you would not have noticed it. The food was very good for all meals with plenty of variety, they had grilled beef at night on a couple of occasions and it was beautiful and tender. The staff in the dining room were attentive really did a very good job as most nights the dining room was full.
The bedrooms are a bit dated but very clean, towels changed daily and bed linen changed frequently, the cleaning staff do a excellent job both in the bedrooms and public areas.
The hotel is very central both for the town, shops and the railway station which is only a ten minute walk away which allows easy excess to Malaga and Fuengirola, the Bio Park is well worth a visit as is Paloma Park in Benalmadena.
Stayed in the hotel October last year for a week and I defiantly found the service and food better this time, it is our fifth time staying in as many years, I have allows liked this hotel and have every intention of staying again.
The weather was good, even went home with a tan not bad for February.

Room Tip: Higher floors get the sun better

We stayed here for 4 nights at a total cost of £180 half board. Very good price for 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel was in a great location in the town very near the exit of the train station and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. (Downhill so be prepared for the walk back up. But you can use a lift at a cost of 50 cents per person aged over 6).

The only negative we could mention was that the cleaners were smoking in the linnen room on our floor which made the hallway smell and also the towels smell.

If we had paid alot more than we did then I would complain about the food which was not good. We have stayed in hotels all over spain and this place was bad. But as we didnt pay alot we didnt eat in the restaurant after the first day.

Staff very nice.

Had a short break at the Cervantes to celebrate a birthday have stayed in the hotel several times before and have never been disappointed.
Located in the centre of Torremolinos it is well placed for the railway station which offers a twenty minute service for trains to Malaga or down to Fuengirola.
A taxi rank is located just outside the hotel's main entrance.
The public areas are well maintained and very clean, staff friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable .
The rooms all have fridges, safes and televisions although the televisions are old fashioned and. there is only one English speaking channel available.
Food is fine there was always a choice but probably not four star quality.
A good outdoor pool and a roof top pool offer scope for exercise and relaxation.
All in all I would say that it was ideal for a short break but probably not for a fourteen night main holiday.
I will certainly visit it again.

Room Tip: Most high floor rooms have either sea or mountain views

I booked this hotel for a group of 4 and kept track of the reviews in the couple of months before we were due to go. I read with a sinking heart the comments people were leaving and went with poor expectations. What a revelation! We were met by the most pleasant gentleman on reception who could not have been more polite and friendly, we were given a low floor as requested and another couple who came with us but on a seperate booking were given rooms close by when he realised we were all together. The hotel was spotless, everywhere you looked someone was cleaning or polishing. The beds were comfortable, the food was lovely, plenty of choice and always hot. Beer, sangria and soft drinks were on tap in the restaurant and bottles of wine were there for the taking and the restaurant staff were great fun. The entertainment at the weekend was geared towards the Spanish, but, guess what! you're in Spain. If you want bingo - go to Benidorm. All in all we had a lovely few days for £58 per room per night, all we could eat and drink. Fantastic value, we are already planning to go again the same time next year.
