Having just spent a 5 day stay here with my partner to celebrate her 50 the birthday, all I can say it was superb. The room was cleaned everyday, the hotel was really clean and food was quality!! The staff were helpful at all times and we could not fault the holiday at all. Would recommend this hotel to all. Would have liked to have stayed for longer

This hotel was very disappointing. Particularly the food which was always cold ! Buy a bloody microwave !!! They need to employ security to put a stop to idiots (most of which were old enough to know better) from putting pressure on the bar staff to serve them when they should have been able to tell them 'no more', but had nobody to back that up and had to back down, this situation being a consequence of the hotel changing to having all inclusive. There was also no security to intervene when the noise at night was ridiculous from other rooms, where there is also very little sound proofing between rooms meaning you can hear every noise. We had requested a quite room on a higher floor before our trip and got just the opposite ! The beds were also very hard. We have stayed in other hotels around Europe/Egypt/USA which were certainly of a higher standard and were 3 and 4 stars. From speaking to 'locals' we got the impression all inclusive is the idea of the local mayor and has affected this hotel adversely since. Overall far too many negative points from this hotel

Room Tip: Book room only and spend your money in the Torremolinos area instead in places like Luna Egipciya (a...

Stayed here first two weeks in march 2014 the hotel is fine good rooms and nice and clean the down side is the food very little choice and never hot just warm sometimes the trays were empty and when I asked for them to be filled up you had to wait a long time also we never had any fresh vegetables in the two weeks we were there the veg and potatoes must have come out of tins and were terrible also very noisy at weekends with stag and hen parties definately not a hotel for relaxing

Room Tip: Over looking the pool

1. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly.
2. All parts of the hotel were kept very clean throughout our stay.
3. The rooms were clean and spacious with a good sized balcony.
4. The food was in the main very good although on a couple of occasions nothing seemed to go together well. I would imagine that there would be long a long wait to get into the restaurant when the hotel is full.
5. Outside areas are quite small considering the occupancy of the hotel and there are insufficient sun beds.
6. Spirits with mixers are fine but the beer is served in wine glasses probably less then a third of a pint, just not good enough as by the time you have reached your sunbed it had already been consumed.
7. The wifi is 25 euros a week and is inadequate when you are in your room, the only place it worked ok was in the lounge.( not worth the money)

Overall a good experience and I would definitely use this hotel again its location is good and its only 300 yards from the train station

4th to the 11th March 2014

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the swimming pool are the best position and the corner rooms had very large balcon...

Hi just back from the hotel Cervantes ,nice looking hotel ,good rooms ,decent food and drinks on the all-inclusive package ...clean contemporary looking hotel ,friendly staff especially in the restaurant staff and house keeping staff ... downside for us was lack of entertainment ,in fact there was none and it got a bit boring in the hotel ,you had to make your own entertainment and thank god we met some lads from Edinburgh who gave us a real laugh cheers lads.
Most days we spent down at the beach which is about ten minutes down some steep steps or you can use a lift service , the beach is lovely and clean with a promenade which stretches for miles with plenty of bars and eateries and a kids play park with kids rides and entertainment .
At night we went out to some of the bars as I said hotel is boring at night , colours Irsh bar is good and New tinas bar which right now you get a free shot with your first drink and they play good music and have free wifi .....I would go back to the Cervantes as its a good hotel ,but management please put some entertainment on .

Room Tip: first floor rooms ,closer to amenities

Stayed here for 4 nights and was made up. Such a lovely hotel for a first visit to the area.

So close to the train station, I would suggest getting the train from the airport and save yourself a small fortune. When you come out the train station you can't miss it.

The rooms are very comfortable and house keeping impeccable.

It is also right in the centre of town.

We'd had a problem with one our party and the hotel staff could not do enough to help.

Food was great and the breakfast was more than you could ask for.

I can't recommend this hotel enough, will definitely be going again.
