This hotel is mainly for the older generation, I visited this hotel with my family and had a lovely time, I have been going to the Torremolinos area since I was 6 months old and I really enjoy it every year although this was the first time in this hotel, the hotel is full of character, although many of the older people there do not like younger people wondering round or being near them, the older guests there were very rude towards us by pushing and shoving in queues for food and also not being very friendly, other than that the food is lovely and there is plenty of it! The hotel is right on the seafront and is well secure.

Dear Annabella19,

Thank you for choosing Hotel Pez Espada and for proving us with your comment. It's lovely to hear that you've been visiting Torremolinos since your were a child. We are happy to hear that you had a good time at the hotel and we very much appreciate your comment. As you say, the hotel is a favorite place of older generation although we receive as well young people, families with children during the summer months.

Thanks again for sharing your comment and we hope to welcome you back again.

Kind regards,

Vanda

Blyth Northumberland couple. Had a great stay in the pez. It is for the older generation so that means no rowdy drunks and most people are a bed by midnight. The food was really good and the restaurant staff were a pleasure to be looked after by. The reception staff were very helpfull also and the chamber maids very through. There was loads of space to sun bathe and a secure exit to the promonarde. The entertainment was'nt very good, but hay i dont go on holiday to sit and have a free night in. It's my tenth time in Benalmadina, this is by far my best stay. I WAS MORE THAN HAPPY WITH THE HOTEL I,M STAYING THERE IN AUGUST AGAIN. Aslight shock to me was that you had to wear trousers for your evening meal, but after thinking about it it's nice to keep stanards up.

Room Tip: we were in the aniccs, it was very quiet

Super efficient hard working team, very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location for beach and long promenade walks. Low key night entertainment in the area as expected for this time of year, but if you fancy some late night karaoke we recommend Dixies-Blue-Moon-Karaoke-bar and friendly hosts Johnny and Lisbeth. Thomson Rep Vee gave good information and advice. Only problem we had was with the free WiFi which was so slow that we gave up - didn't try the other WiFi so don't know if it is quicker. The summer daytime activities were only due to start on the day we left and although these are not usually something we take part in we may have been tempted this time due to the lovely girl organising them who has such a happy personality and beautiful smile. Slept OK as we like firm beds. Choice for buffet was very good and there is a microwave available if you want your food hotter. Best (strongest) coffee we have had on holiday + proper fruit juices at breakfast. Reasonable priced drinks in bar. Cleanliness of hotel and the whole resort in general was of a very high standard. Hope the refurbishment doesn't take away the wonderful character of this hotel.

Room Tip: we were on 3rd floor with view of pool + beach, looking down on bar terrace area but were not distur...

Stayed in a suite a couple of weeks ago, yes agree a refurb is needed and planned but we were very pleased. staff lovely food good . Head waiter arranged grilled fish for us. Clean sheets and Towels every day it was very relaxing didnt hear any noise.
trying very hard to get my husband to return next month , I love the area and the people, and so much to do plus fab sea food. A spa and room service would be great. The cava , wine and fruit in roomwas great plus a salad was served as we arrived late. when upgrades take place this could be five star. Not many people can say that frank sinatra, sofia lauren or Shaun Connery may have stayed in the same suite can they

Room Tip: A Suite is a must

Stayed 22/05-01/06 lovely grand old hotel, full of character, staff are friendly and effiecient.location
super right on beach 5 mins walk from lively marina. Now the downside it's dire need of refurbishment rooms are really quite scruffy, carpets should have been replaced years ago, ours ponged a bit!we paid extra for a garden view ,but on arrival were given a standard room, this was soon rectified when pointed out.The garden/grounds are immaculate as are pools, you will have to pay 20 euros deposit on small worn towels for pool use I suggest you take your own.Fridge/safe are available for hire,I don,t think restaurant could be classed as 4 star, food choice limited and not hot,but usually found something adequate.Entertainment very basic, happy hour 3 times a week helps.A refurbishment is sheduled for early next year, hope it dos'nt spoil the character too much. All in all a nice hotel probably a good 3 star at present.

Room Tip: if you can pay extra for a garden room.(high floor)
