Just spent a week there, the food was amazing with lots of choice, something for everyone. The hotel is very clean and the staff really helpful, especially those on reception and in the dining room. The entertainment was okay but not great. The Flamenco goup were very good but on other nights it could be a bit dire. The bar staff in the concert lounge were very slick and prepared to put anything you wanted in a glass. Try the Pina Colada with Malibu, tremendous!
The towels go out from 0700 onwards so if you want a premium spot you have to be sharpish. The furniture in the rooms is a bit dated and of course the beds are very hard. No surprise there. The TVs are about 15 years old and could do with updating.
There are some pretty unappealing rooms, those on the lower ground floor. Especially those near the main building or right on top of the pool. Do what I did and send them an email a few days before you go and ask for a high floor with a pool view. We got exactly what we asked for.
Overall, we enjoyed our holiday and the hotel was fine.More
