“value for money holiday”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

stayed here in July 2013 its a value for money hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly enjoyed my conversation with Pepe at the pool side bar. Food was above my expectations our stay was all inclusive. Theirs snack midday but don't go to the restaurant via main entrance because it looks closed, they open a door on the sun terrace near the disabled lift. we found this on the last day. But I put to much weight on any way so it saved my waist line. Out and about food and drink can be expensive so being all inclusive saved us alot of money however we did go out most nights. your only 100 yards from the beach. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family without hesitation. room have no hair dryer or fridge basic tv mainly news channel small sun terrace. If you enjoy complaining you will find something to complain about my advice is go on holiday and don't look for the negatives find the positives.........

Room Tip: be polite smile, and learn some Spanish

we've just got back from staying here from 22/07 - 29/07. We'd booked adjoining rooms which we were'nt given, that was quite annoying, nobody seemed to care and it was a case of just dealing with it!! Downside to the hotel, would have to be the food, I usually can always find something to like in a buffet but even I struggled!! and yes, the previous reviews are right when they say majority of the food is cold, I asked about the cold chips and a waiter pointed me over to a microwave, food doesnt really taste the same when re-heated in a microwave, my daughter literally lived off chips and crisps for practically the whole week. Even the snack bar couldnt tempt her. The snack bar is within the hotel restaurant, its not inviting at all & I hated going in, its deathly quiet when you go in to get a snack, would be so much nicer if the snack bar was outside. Big signs up everywhere - DO NOT TAKE FOOD DOWN TO THE GARDEN BAR - such a shame, you had to dry off to go in the snack bar as well, which to be honest was a total inconvenience!!!! the up side is the hotel is really really lovely and clean, the pool, although not huge is ample. The bar staff always friendly and the entertainment guys are great fun. I went with my 15 yr old and 9yr old twins. Even the 15 yr old loved it!! the younger ones just loved the entertainment in the evening, nothing that spectacular but a lot of fun. The beach is a 2 min stroll away with some fab shops selling most things you'd want. On the whole we had a fab relaxing week, plenty of sunbeds to go round, all very chilled out just a shame about the food.

Room Tip: try to get a room on the 3rd or 4th floor - the lift does at times get really really busy and we had...

I thought it was really good family hotel, expecially if you go young kids, I stayed here from the 9th to 16th july, it had a lovely pool and lots of sunbeds. the rooms were really clean and was cleaned every day very well by the maids, its in a great location to the beach only about 2 minute walk and close to bars and restuarants.

when i arrived i thought the person on reception never gave us a warm welcoming, on a couple of evenings a really loud group of spanish kids started making a racket in the pool what you could here in the room. allot of people left the pool area because of it .Also they had 3 vending machines and the whole week i was there they never seemed to work.

overal i would return as i really enjoyed my stay here, I would strongly reccomend it if your thinking of going to torremolinos.

I am here at the minute and I can't wait to get home I actually would check out and go some where else it is that bad, we have 3 kids with us and last night the manager came over to us and told us to take our 2 yr old to bed because she was crying he was so rude it was unbelievable, I would not recommend this hotel to any one who speaks English because they don't want you here they look down their nose at you even tho we probably paid more than the Spanish did its a joke I swear never again, it has to be the worse place in the world they cater for their own only nothing for the kids at all even the pool is taken over by them you have to stand Gaurd your kids it is just unreal I would go to jail for a week rather than come here again so please do not take your family here you will regret it so much just a waste of money really was can't wait to get out of here, all inclusive my eye bar closes at 11 and if you stil have a drink they turn off the lights on you so you have to sit in the dark it has to be the worse place on the earth

First time all inclusive and was well worth. Help yourself to beer, wine, soft drinks and ice creams, no one watching over you and it was fine to take more than one drink at a time. Majority of staff were friendly, rooms cleaned every day although a couple of days the dirty towels were taken and not replaced. Evening entertainm was varied although we didnt stay to watch. Pool not as big as it looks in picture but was ample room for the week we were there and always sunbeds available around 9 in morning and there were 10 of us. Only downside was no snack bar outside, you had to dry off to go into restaurant, sometimes would have been nice to have snack by your sunned.

We just got back from the parasol garden hotel we stayed there from 3rd of July to the 10th, we had a fab time the drinks were self serve, you only went to the bar for spirits. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels , the pool area was lovely the thick cushions for the sun beds made them lovely and comfortable, I would say the only thing that let it down was the food ,don't get me wrong we did eat something everyday but if you did not like chicken or pork you would have struggled but on the whole it was a lovely place and we in joyed are stay . for what we paid it was a cracker ........

Room Tip: we stayed in room 428 massive.

The cut backs on this Hotel show from the first step you take into the Hotel and goes downhill from there, one nights food was pigs cheek and trotters, the free house wine was not worth having, very, very cheap plonk.
I have always enjoyed the Spainish English breakfast but this was a complete mess, if you got an egg one morning you didn't get the re-shaped look-a-like bacon.
Only one bar open and that was outside.
Not enough staff, Food was terrible and cheap.

Room Tip: All the prices in Spain have doubled from the previous year, we have been to Spain for the last 12 y...
