We stayed in this hotel in early June 2010. It was "low season", so there wasn't much custemers that time. Exception were weekends, when hotel was really full.

The hotel itself was lovely. Spains 3 star is about 4 stars in Turkey or Egypt. Pool area was very lovely. Rooms are very clean and effective air con and nice balcony. Only thing is - no fridge.

We had all inclusive and really enjoyed hotels food and drinks.Wide selection of meats, vegetables, salads, pasta and fish was available as well as rolls, breads and soup.

Hotel i s in good lcation. About 15 min. to Torremolinos centre and local train and bus station. So we were able to travel to Malaga and other Costa Del Sol cityes very cheep. Beach is just 100 m. from hotel and local shops are also very near.

Suff was very lovely and ready to help us whenever we needed any help. Special thanks for bartender Pepe and animation team.

I would defenitily go to this hotel again and would recommend it to others. Very lovely place for famelies with small children

I'm just back from parasol garden hotel and i just have to say i don't think i'll be back. It's a shame really cos it was a nice hotel with nice staff and in a good location just off the beach but the food was awful. I'm not a fussy eater at all and i usually manage to eat some sort of meal if the food isn't that great but i was absolutely toiling. Everything was much the same..........horrible. The display of food was quite impressive until you came to eat it. I really don't appreciate green mould on bread or it being rock hard or blood running out of chicken wings, how hard is it to cook chicken wings? To be fair, one day there was freshly cooked rolls cos they were nice and warm or was that to soften them up? Mostly geared up for the spanish pensioners at that time of year, don't know about the height of season cos i won't return to this hotel only because of the food.

Rooms cleaned and fresh towels eveyday. Air conditioning and ceiling fan in room great help. Good selection of continental meals, try to cater for english but bacon sausage beans etc not how we would make them. Would you expect to eat excellent paella in a Blackpool boarding house? Great location, 1 min from beach and bars. I recommend english people to learn a few spanish phrases to interact with staff. Weather terrific. Area clean. I thought the holiday was good value.

We have just returned from a week in the Parasol and we had a fantastic time. The food was excellent, there was a huge choice of food and something different everyday. Hot and cold and all very tasty. It is a spanish hotel so they are not only catering for the Brits (which is the only reason I can think of that people would complain about the food?). The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. Maids cleaned and changed towels everyday. Pools looked great although it was too cold to go in this time of year. Staff really friendly and helpful. Didn't have one complaint to make. Next door there is a brilliant Welsh bar- The Victoria Inn. Great food, great entertainment, ideal for families as there is plenty for the kids to do. The owners Kevin and Carole were so friendly and welcoming. They will go out of their way to do whatever you ask for. It rained for almost all of our holiday and spent most of our time here. Had such a fab time anyway Lovely beach, not far from Torremolinos and airport. Would definatley return and stay at this excellent hotel.

this was a nice hotel in a good location and the maid sevice was good came every day and changed towels when required but and there is a big but, we booked half board and the food was absolutely terrible no selection and what was there was cold. saw a man in a chefs hat one day and wondered if there was any laws that would apply to him for making a mockery of the trades discription act. tried to suffer the food but fell out with the head waiter and didn't go back. Ate breakfast at a local bar J,G's and was very good, also the bar next door to the hotel [the victoria] did excellent meals and have the best chips i have ever tasted. never experienced the entertainment because we had to eat out and didn't go back. hotel would have been fine if i had booked room only.

Booked this £250 pp full board. Read the reviews and was a little apprehensive but it was absolutely fabalous. Rooms clean, staff friendly and me and my partner loved the food. The choice was great. Approx 25% of british people staying there - the rest were european. Beach is across the road. We walked into Benelmadena and back 5 times. This was a long walk but enjoyable in the sun and we stopped off in the bars on the way. Queen Vic pub next door (welsh) who served real chips and their peppercorn sauce was lush.

We booked this as a last minute break. We have stayed in the Playa Mar area before as it is lovely. The Hotel is clean and tidy, but the staff are miserable. We were on the top floor (floor 10) which is quite a way up. Would not recommend this floor if you have children with you. It was early in the season, but the hotel was so dead. Nothing made me want to spend any time in the hotel bar or restuarant. We booked B&B and we were staying 4 nights. We had breakfast once. It was ok, but nothing exciting. Much easier to eat at one of the local bars for breakfast. Location of the hotel is brilliant for the beach and resort. We arrived around 11.00pm on the Saturday evening and returning home at 6.00pm on the Wednesday. We asked if we could have a courtesy room as we had to check out at 10.00am on the Wednesday, but we were told no. I asked again and they said we could use the showers by the pool!! We could have a room for 25 euros. I argued the point we only wanted it for a few hours extra and they were charging us more for the extra hours than it was to stay per night! What is most odd is that they said they were fully booked so they could not offer a courtesy room, but I could pay to keep the room on................ What was also extremely annoying is that we paid for the room on the Tuesday and when we went back to the room on the Wednesday afternoon the key card had been cancelled so we had to go all the way down from the 10th floor to ask them to recharge the key. Also I had put the sign on in the morning for the room to be made up as we were still there and we needed fresh towels, and the maid must have been in as she changed the room sign but the beds were left unmade and our old towels still in the bath. I am still trying to understand what we paid 25 euros for.

The hotel's guests were mainly spainish, of the older generation. As I said earlier the setting is nice, pool area not that large, and I certainly would not want to spend my main summer holiday at this hotel in the height of the season.

The resort is lovely, and only a 20 minute stroll along the sea front. Lots of bars and restuarants along the way. It is a really pleasant walk.

Near enough next door to the hotel is the Vic Bar, we banged on their door when we arrived late and they opened up and let us have a few drinks, which was lovely and very kind of them. We didnt get the chance to get bar there before we left, but do pop in and have a drink with them. Very friendly from Wales.

I cant remember the name of the restuarant, but if you walk out of the hotel through the swimming pool area and walk towards the sea there is a little clothes shop on your right and next door is a lovely restuarant. We had our breakfast there in mornings, and a bite at lunchtime and a few evening meals. Very good food, plenty of choice and a lovely view of the sea. Do visit. The little man who was there all the time reminded us of Freddie Starr!

We will defintely be back to Costa Del Sol. We saw some lovely hotels along the front, but we will not return to this one. Not the happiest and inviting place I have been.

We had wonderful weather, not the norm apparently for this time of year (29 March-2nd April) but we were on the beach every day. Chilly in the evenings, need a cardigan/jumper. Hope this review helps.
