We had a sea view apartment on the 2nd floor for 2 weeks over Christmas. The view from the room and balcony were superb and the sun rose directly in front of you every day.
The room was ok being about the normal size of a hotel room. We had 2 single beds but you couldn't push them together because of the design of the headboard. Consequently there was a gap between the beds. There was plenty of drawer space but they were small and wouldn't even take T shirts. There is a large wardrobe which has a safe in but you pay extra for the safe.
The things we did not like are the bathroom and kitchen In the kitchen is a small sink but no draining board to put the washed dishes on. The only place to put them is on to the electric hob which is right next to the sink !!!
The bathroom is very small with a tiny shower cubicle. The shower is OK but does tend to run very hot or very cold during a shower. It is impossible to sit on the toilet and face forward. There is just no room and you have to sit at an angle. Not good.
The cleaning lady was very pleasant and liked to chat to improve her English but we found that the cleaning was what we call a 'lick and a promise' i.e. a quick whizz around.
One last thing that concerned us. There is no phone and no-one on reception at night so what do you do in an emergency ? How do you get a doctor or the fire brigade ?
Although the view was fantastic, the location perfect, the staff very nice, we won't be going back because of the kitchen/bathroom.
