We received an email from Antonio that the restaurant had closed permanently due to the economic times in Spain. We were sorry to hear that but understand the reasoning behind the closure. We will miss "our" little spot in Torremolinos. Thanks for the food, fun and most importantly, the friendship.

A superb little restaurant with lovely open-air enclosed space. Set meals can be had for under €11, or more substantial for €17. Both have a limited menu, but are superb. Real Spanish cooking, good quality food and a professional maitre d'. This was the very best find of our recent holiday, we will be back.

We've dined here quite a few times and we always have the fillet steak but this time my wife had fillet and I had a T-bone - both were excellent. The owner is a great guy and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with a nice courtyard to dine outside if the weather permits. 2 steaks and a nice bottle of rioja 50 euros with a complimentary brandy afterwards.

Blink and you would miss this place. Look at it and you might think twice...don't think twice, go in! This place is the classic hidden gem.
The interior of this restaurant is so quaint and classically Spanish. A vast array of drinks behind the bar ranging from traditional wines to San Miguel.
Do not be afraid to try anything on the menu because it is all absolutely fantastic.
The restaurant is run by the character that is Antonio. This man makes this restaurant with his charm, style and service. Every order from yourself comes with the correct pronunciation of what you were trying to say and the importance of what you just said. The man will make a fuss of you and make sure that he pulls out all of the stops to make you return, which you will. He'll compliment the ladies, flirt and make the men feel at ease with bigger, special portions of food and special glasses for beer and wine.
Along with the Chef Pacqui, this is a fantastic double act because she works non stop in the kitchen and still has the time to come out and talk to you and ask you how you are and how your day was. Each meal that she cooks is personal, to the cut of beef, chicken or salmon to the consistency and taste of your sauce. It may taste completely different the next time and that's the magic and that's why you'll be back.

We discovered this little restaurant on our last visit to Torremolinos. It was only a few blocks from our apartment. It was closed on Fridays so we decided to go back after our friends had arrived. We proceeded to go back several more times during our 6 week stay. The gambas y pil pil were so good, and the mussells, yummm. We also tried almost everything else on the menu and all were winners! Antonio who is the manager convinced us to try the paella on our last visit. We have travelled in Andalusia numerous times since 2002 and this was THE BEST paella we had ever eaten. Rice perfectly cooked and seasoning done to perfection. We also stopped by several times for an after dinner drink, or coffee in the afternoon. When Antonio found out my husband (grew up in ElPaso, TX) spoke Spanish, he worked with him on pronunciation, correct usage, etc. I learned alot just by observation! We will definitly go back when we return for our winter's stay in 2013. The warm welcome we received from both Antonio and Paqui, his chef, made Enrique's # 1 on our list.
