Walking down from Saint Nicholas Square, we headed to this lovely eatery. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even advised us that the orders maybe to large for 2 people to finish and offered to downsize it, even though it was not available on the menu. There is something about the batter or the way they deep fry it here! Would be a contender for Best sliced aubergine/egg plant with honey in Spain (3 weeks in Spain and been to Madrid/Barcelona/Seville) . The seafood platter (deep fried again!) was crispy on the outside and moist and cooked just right. Non of the fried dishes were oily.... Again a feat on its own. Need to figure the recipe for the batter.....

We went there on our last night in Granada, from the moment we were just standing looking at the menu, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We decided to stay and order dinner and not just tapas. First we received a tapa with our wine, with amazing olives and cheese. We had the red pepper and onion salad, which was absolutely delicious, the paella mixta, again, perfect & for dessert the recommended home made dishes, one was the typical dessert from Granada and the cheesecake. We could not believe how amazing all the food was, and also the Sierra Nevada wine recommended by the waitress. I cannot praise this place enough. Highly recommended.

We only went here because it was around the corner from our hotel and the only of three restaurants on the square which was open late in the evening. Three simple dishes were ordered and all were delicious. Nothing fancy, just well prepared and served with a smile.

Close to our hotel which is the reason we went there in the first instance for lunch. But we went there again for dinner because it was so nice. The food is good, with at least a few things a vegetarian can eat, and the setting on the patio of a lovely little square. More than that though the thing that separated this from most of the restaurants we´ve visited whilst in Spain was the quality of the service. The front of house staff made us feel so welcome with their relaxed, friendly manner. They certainly gave the impression that they enjoyed looking after their customers. They also responded to our basic efforts to communicate in Spanish with their own efforts to speak English (more than we could manage in Spanish!), and all with good humour. All in all, thanks to the staff, it is a lovely, relaxing place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

We came across this place one afternoon after a big climb up to Mirador San Cristobal & were much in need of a cool drink!
We really enjoyed the free tapa with our drink so returned the next night for a meal & were not dissapointed. I was also impressed with the range of local wines-lovely!
The setting is pretty and a peaceful place to enjoy a drink and food.
