What a fabulous place - a traditional Spanish townhouse, complete with internal courtyard, turned into a quirky but luxurious hotel, very close to the Alhambra. Staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive from the great receptionists with their never ending supply of fruit pastille and helpfulness in sending their guests to lovely tapas restaurants to the fantastic lady in the kitchen who produced virtually anything you could want for breakfast. All bedrooms were different and very comfortable large beds and modern bathrooms with upmarket shower gels etc. All in all an exceptional place.

Room Tip: Rooms at front have a slightly better view

A lovely, traditional Moorish style building in a great location furnished in a boutique minimalist way. We stayed in Don Alhambro on the 2nd floor. Large, airy room with shuttered doors onto a narrow balcony overlooking the street. The bed is quite firm but extremely comfortable. The bathroom is large with Hollywood style light bulbs around the mirror so plenty of light. There is also a special low level light for the bathroom so you are not blinded if you have to use the bathroom at night! (nice touch). The shower is powerful with plenty of hot water at any time of day. The staff speak perfect English and couldn't have been more helpful. They answered my emails immediately, arranged the transfers from/to the airport which were seamless and booked us a restaurant that we wanted to eat in - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is brilliantly located for all the sights and also 2 mins walk to 'Navas' which has plenty of bars/restaurants frequented mainly by locals so you know it must be good! The bus to the Alhambra Palace is 2 mins walk away (take it - the walk up is a killer and you need the energy for the Palace). Only one recommendation - if you are a light sleeper, take some ear plugs (we had so it wasn't a problem for us). It's not in a noisy location and the room is double glazed but it is in a narrow street and we found the noise of general life in the morning can wake you a little early if you are not prepared. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone wishing to visit Granada - Enjoy!

I stayed in the apartment that is away from the hotel. Situated in the old quarter, the top floor apartment was spacious and quiet, my 2 main priorities. The hotel manager took exceptional care of me on numerous occasions, and I would rate her personal attention in the top 5% of service I have received at international hotels in the past 30+ years. The apartment is up a hill, so if you walk, it's good to be in shape, though taxis make the climb a lot easier! I would definitely stay at the apartment again, or at the hotel, due to the exceptional personal service that was offered to me.

It's Special! So you cannot compare. You like it or it's nothing for you. Every room is different with a different character and design. But the Location is perfect for all places in Granada. If you travel by car, take a parking place from the Hotel. You have to book it in advance!

Room Tip: Choose for every trip an other room!

This hotel is in a historic property and is very artsy. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. The main complaint I have is that the lighting in the rooms is more art than function. There is simply no good light for reading while in bed. Also, there was only a top sheet on the bed and when I asked for a blanket (it was a bit chilly at night), I received another sheet. This helped a bit, but a lightweight duvet or blanket would have been much more comfortable.
The location is superb for visiting the historic sights of Granada!

Perfect hotel for short break in Granada. Hotel in ideal position with the bus for the Alhambra only a few minutes walk away and shops/restaurants/sights all very near by. The staff were very polite and helpful and could not do enough to make our stay run smoothly (pre-booking the Alhambra entry tickets for us). Would definitely return.

Room Tip: Twin rooms are slightly bigger than the doubles.

Well placed, old building refurbished into 3 storey small Hotel with attentive, helpful and very pleasant staff.
Nice touch was tea/coffee with cake on arrival.
Breakfast was a good varied Continental.
Rooms can be small for the Standard but acceptable for a short stay - we moved to a twin which was bigger at no extra cost.
Quiet location with easy walking distance to buses and walking to the Old part of the city.
Would certainly use this Hotel again

Room Tip: Twin rooms are bigger and rooms not on the road side are quieter
