“Recommended by Miriam”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 via mobile

Stayed down the road from the restaurant and was advised by the receptionist, Miriam, of this local restaurant. Bit slow to get the ball rolling but worth it in the end. Great food and if looking for a change from tapas/Spanish, try the pasta - superb. Good local wine. Worth the money.

“El Aji Fantastic”
Reviewed 1 October 2013 via mobile

We went hear after reading about the place in the lonely planet book. Fantastic restaurant, to start we shared the partridge pâté which was lovely and plenty of toast / crostini as you can see from the picture. Prawns and Pork for main, the pork was probably the nicest pork my girlfriend and I had ever had. The prawns were lovely too. All in all can thoroughly recommend this place, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, cracking food.

“Worth seeking out.”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

This restaurant was recommended by a local and so we were confident it would be better than okay. This meant we were a little put off when we arrived for dinner at 9.00 pm to find it completely empty. Being a little suspect we opted to sit at the outside tables, located across the road on the edge of San Miguel Bajo (take bus 31 if coming up from the centre of Granada) and enjoy a drink whilst figuring out which move came next. Whilst we were enjoying a couple of very good Mojito's together with an excellent complimentary tapas, a few other tables filled up and we decided to go ahead and dine here - the tapas was very good so we figured the rest of the food should be too. We shared a starter and another complimentary tapas and then had a main each. I had a steak from the charcoal grill and my partner a very clever pasta dish. The food was above average in both quality and presentation and this is clearly a restaurant that wants to shine out from the standard fare offered in the immediate neighbourhood. The wine list was very good and the staff very helpful with choices - especially given I have no Spanish. It is not the cheapest place in town but nor is it too high end. By the middle of our meal all the tables were full and the only tourists were us and a young French couple. Guess 9.00 pm was too early for the locals and thus the empty tables when we arrived.

“Nice place to hangout in the evening”
Reviewed 28 August 2013 via mobile

Very helpful and friendly staff, food was very good and came quickly. The Mojitos and Sangrias are great there. Choose this one over the other ones on the square and you won't regret it.
