“Living in a real palace”

I haven't ever been to a better hotel. Everything there was just perfect. I can't tell what I liked most. It is located in 5 minutes from Alhambra and the cathedral. It is very nice and comfortable. I really loved the patio and the fontain. It is beautiful place where you feel like living there

Very noisy by night (all night), like teenagers or young people screaming.
Staff very friendly, breakfast very good but in a tiny room.
No safe in rooms and not elevator either.
Location great and service excellent

The hotel is a historic building in a great spot to explore the city on foot. We parked in the city centre and walked to the hotel as access by car is heavily restricted. It was a little stressful as we kept being turned down restricted roads by our sat nav. Once at the hotel, it has lovely period features and decor that doesn't let you forget you are in historic Granada. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and recommended that they book tickets for us to visit the Alhambra Palace. It didn't cost any more and meant that we were guaranteed to get in and could avoid massive queues. The queue was still huge when it was announced that the tickets for entrance to the palace were sold out although tickets to the grounds were still available. Our hotel room was at the front and overlooked the river. We were woken by a large party of students at about 5.30am, on their way to an early tour of the palace. The hotel doesn't have a bar but not really a problem as it's very close to Plaza Nueva which has plenty of bars and restaurants. We only stayed one night but enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: I would guess that rooms at the back would be quieter. Ours was at the front and fairly noisy but wa...

..so you enter the part of Grenada where you can't drive your car. Nobody mentioned to us the complications involvedin accessing this hotel. It was nice, once you found it!. We called while lost and the woman at the other end of the live was rude and sarcastic. We wanted to cancel because the way to access is to find a parking lot, transfer all your luggage to hurricane.. Quite an ordeal..

The hotel is well situated in a popular area of Granada close to the Alhambra. The disadvantage of this is that crowds passing by outside can be rather noisy at night.

The room was very comfortable, with effective air conditioning. Breakfasts were good.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke good English.

Great view of the Alhambra, but not a tourist trap! Excellent food and great service. I recommend the local beer Alhambra 1935 ( real good value with money ) Beautiful XVI century palace with a patio and a beautiful fountain. Very close to Plaza Nueva next to the river.

The room was far larger than expected. More like an apartment with a four poster bed and views of the Alhambra. A reasonable mini bar and tea making facilities. It was clean with lots of plush towels and bath robes too. For the price we paid, it was very good value for money. I would recommend room 305.
