A good 3 star hotel

2.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 12 Jul 2019via mobile
I was expecting much more from this hotel. Well located - albeit all difficulties to reach it if you are traveling by car - the entrance is very nice and staff in quite helpful. Coming to the “buts”, room was quite dark and when the neighbors was showering or......well I think you know......well it was like if you were really with him. Sorry but that is something that shouldn’t happen in a 4 stars hotel.

Great decor and gorgeous presentation in this ancient building. Hotel staff gave great advice on restaurants and activities and the hotel restaurant was superb. The Alhambra was within walking distance.

Absolutely head over heels for this hotel, and also this magical city of Grenada. The hotel has an authentic feel, it feels like an old villa, with modern touches here and there for the guests comfort. The inner courtyard of the hotel is so pretty I took a billion photos. Very romantic, very nice employees, very good breakfast also. I would choose this hotel over and over again!

we had the junior suite doble, with view on the alhambra (just the same picture as above) and it was just great. We really felt like in a little palace.
The room is just huge, as is the bathroom and the bath tub :)
We really felt pampered being there
Staff is very friendly and welcoming
You are offered free tea and coffee at the end of the day after your long visit

Please note that the street outside might result a bit noisy, especially early morning, with buses, garbage truck, and most importantly... geese !

Room tip: great view from junior suite but noisy in the morning :)

We stayed for 5 nights in a junior suite. It is wonderfully situated in Albaicin part of Granada overlooking the Darro River & looking upwards to the Alhambra Bell Tower.
We had good nights sleep every night & didn't find it too noisy, the bed was very comfortable.
The shower was over the spa bath - not too powerful but good amount of hot water, we did not use spa bath but it looked interesting.
Breakfast was a buffet but plentiful & varied - delicious fresh tortilla every morning & proper cheesecake.
Staff were so friendly & helpful.
Free WiFi that was reasonably fast.
Highly recommend Palacio de Mariana Pineda
