“Great tapas bar in small hidden alley in Granada!”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Pros:
Food - we were greeted with a generous plate of free appetizers that included fried anchovies, fried gambas and a red pepper slaw.
As we had been around town tapas bar hopping, we only ordered one thing that we saw all the locals eat as well : fried dog fish platter served with lemon. It was delicious!

Atmosphere - crowded with locals having a late-night drink or quick bite. No seating area.
Service - quick. waiter was patient and kind enough that we had the chance of trying different alcohols before ordering the one we wanted.
Price - 6 euros for a 1/2 portion of fried dog fish (generous!)

Cons -

Recommendation: if you want to try a nice and cosy tapas bar away from the tourists scene, definitely try this one!

“Excellent informal tapas experience; Great fish, and interesting just to see the quiet, efficient barman working!”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

Small, quite cramped, standing room only, tucked down a small linking alley, so not easy to find...
But excellent, simple fish tapas, and clearly very popular with locals.
First tapas served with our beer, and we followed up with a half racion of two different dishes. We passed a very pleasant hour or so enjoying this, and seeing the single barman quietly and efficiently keeping track of people's orders, who'd had tapas and not etc - everything just worked. A very different experience from the bigger tapas bars.
Returned the following night for more of the same.

“Good sea food tapas”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

This bar is a real good place to get a taste of traditional spanish fish tapas, There is only standing room and you can eat at the barrels on the outside, just order your drink and they will give you a small tapa to go along with you drink. This place is very popular with the local spanish and visiting spanish to granada. The interior is very small and always crowded, which is a good sign.
