“Don't let this tourist scam ruin your time in Granada!”

They lied about this dinner/show. We were originally told dinner was to be served at 9:30pm, yet the reality was available to eat until after 12:30am! Three hours is too far too long to wait when you're hungry. We were starving when we decided to escape the "show" at midnight in search of food and ended up eating at Burger King!
Thank God we skipped their "walking tour" because it was raining but the group that did the "walk" showed up was soaking wet, tired and miserable. They were all forced to stand in a narrow room with us for 30 minutes without anything. Just as it started to feel as if we were all being detained by this nightmare against our will, a lone waiter began to serve 100 people their one included "drink" which was a ridiculous consolation at that point.
The flamenco dancing itself was average at best and definitely not worth this nightmarish experience. Don't let this tourist scam ruin your time in Granada!

“Save Your Money - Don't Go!”
Reviewed 24 September 2011

We like Flamenco and have seen many shows over the years. When we are on a tour and one is advertised, we usually try to go.

Going to this one was a big mistake. It was certainly not the best Flamenco show we have ever seen but, even if it had been, it would not have been enjoyable because of the appalling seating conditions. Chairs are arranged around three sides of the small stage. Some have a restricted view because of pillars. But worst of all was that the chairs used are straight back dining type chairs that are placed in rows with no gaps between the chairs, so that you can hardly move your arms, and with the rows so close together that your knees are jammed into the back of the seat in front. It was not only uncomfortable but dangerous. If there had been a fire it would have been a nightmare trying to get out.

The one waiter taking orders for drinks was a rude and surly individual. There was no way he could actually serve drinks to most people and they had to be passed from person to person to reach their intended recipients. Once you finally got a drink you had to hold on to it, as there was no where to put it down.

Although there appeared to be air conditioning, it was not used so that it was also uncomfortably hot.

In my view, this place is just one big tourist rip-off. My advice is don’t go!

“Careful- on your own, it could be dangerous.”
Reviewed 22 May 2010

We paid for bus transportaation to and from the site, drinks, and the show. We actually were met at the pick-up point by another single who went with us by taxi. There was no bus for the 3 of us- just for big groups. The show was OK- a bit amateurish-they were planning their routines as they went along- but it was Flamenco. The "drink" was soda or pretty basic wine, and you were lucky to get served by the 1 waiter for 100 people before the show began.

The real problem came after- there was no bus and no provision for our return. We were in an area with no taxis. Another tour group had to wait 3/4 hour for one of the busses to do shuttle duty to the centre of the city and then to return. We were lucky to get on with them. We arrived back at our hotel 1 hour later than we should have.

Don't go here- you could be stranded in the middle of a very dark, empty quarter of Granada- and the owners don't care. I spoke to the shop owner who had sold us our tickets- nothing she could or would do.
