Absolutely beautiful, but first things first, Buy Tickets in Advance. It's busy and you definitely don't want to arrive in Granada and not be able to see this amazing site or waste time waiting hours in line to get tickets, if they're still available. Having said that, the place is massive and truly magnificent, with Moroccan and European touches. The tiles, arches, fountains, gardens, just everything is beautiful. Just as stunning are the views of the Alhambra across the way by way of some narrow, winding uphill lanes, but definitely worth it for the sunset views. You've seen the pictures, I'm sure. Don't miss it.

Thoroughly recommend a visit to the fort and palace of the sultans if you visit Granada. The tour has to be booked online and is a minimum of three hours. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

The buildings and surrounding areas are stunning, and the views across Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountains very pretty.

What an exquisite landmark. A touch of Arabic influence in Europe makes travelling to Granada such a joy. It is sweet pleasure to be in Europe and see this exotic, yet distiguished site. Everything is beautiful from the lovely gardens, the view of the city from the fortress and Gate of Justice, to the meticulously designed Nasrid Palace. Granada is a great city for exploring at your leisure as well.. Most landmarks and cultural neighborhoods are within walking distance and there are an abundance of specilaity shops for shopping and just getting a bite to eat. Tourist transportation is very affordable and you won't break your budget (only if you really like to splurge!) in this heartwarming city.

Beautiful and interesting, attend early in the day to beat crowds! We also should've bought tickets online but were lucky enough to buy some of the limited on the day passes

We had been advised to pre-book a visit and we were glad we did. We spent over 6 hours here - theres so much to see. We were fortunate that it was a dry, quite sunny day so very pleasant looking round as much of it is open to the elements. Some fabulous views - especially looking over towards the Sierra Nevada covered in snow with the beautiful blue sky overhead.

Fabulous place - yopu would be well advised to get a guide as there's much to see and some of it (particularly some of the beautiful ceilings) easily missed

Well it is a must to do if you nearby Granada it will takes you hundreds of years back to the 13th century to the most Islamic civilized period ,you can book you ticket online to avoid the long waiting lines and due to the limited visitor numbers

The Alhambra is huge! Allow at least 4 hours to tour the palaces and grounds. These Moorish palaces have incredible tile work and ceilings, and a beautiful reflecting pool.

The grounds and the vistas are incredible. We stayed onsite which made it so convenient to walk around the compound.

This is a must see destination. You should order your tickets for the Nasrid palace well in advance since they do not let you buy them for the same day and they're all sold out at least a week in advance anyway. We were unaware of this, so if you're totally shut out of tickets at the alhambra website, an alterative is to buy a Granada Pass (which is a lot more expensive but gives you free access to other museums as well as some free bus tickets). You can't buy a Granada pass for the same day either.
There is simply nothing like the palaces in the Alhambra. Simply spectacular. The other special tickets -- for the alcazaba (fortress) and the Generalife (gardens) -- are also absolutely worth it. The Generalife is gorgeous. Don't miss it.
