We were in a small touring group and this hotel was chosen for us for a two night stay while we visited the Alhambra location. It was an excellent choice. As others have said, you get superb views across the city and are within a few minutes walk of the Alhambra. It's also a nice walk down into the city though you'd probably want to get a taxi back up hill! The staff were great and the rooms very comfortable. We had one group meal which was very nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The bathroom was well-equipped with a nice long bath though a little shallow. It did take a while to work out how to use the taps though! Faultless service.

Room Tip: Modern taps on 1st and 2nd floors rather annoying. Apparently those higher haven't been upgraded...

My wife, daughter, and I stayed here two nights (4/13-14) and enjoyed our stay very much. Basically, it was a double room with an extra bed, a bit tight, but since it was only two nights, it was fine. The room was easy to move around in, bathroom was large and well appointed. We had the breakfast with our room, and it was nice. Buffet style with many choices (eggs, meat, veggies, bread cereal). If you are looking for a 4 to 5 star experience in Granada, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a night. Cost was $185Sin for a normal room without breakfast or city view. Hotel was once a Palace and is just 5 mins walk to Alhambra Palace and 10 mins to Albacin the city area. Room is clean and basic. Superb view of the city and the restaurant has a lovely view. Free car park for those who drive.

Our group took 3 rooms at Hotel Alhambra Palace the day before our tour of The Alhambra, and found that, while it's an expensive place, it's worth it! The hotel lobby is beautiful, spacious, and spotless. All the staff speaks excellent English and they were most happy to help us and answer any questions. I heard a few other American accents while we were there, but most of the other guests seemed to be British and French.

After unpacking in our very nice, but not large, rooms we were happy to find the free Wi-Fi doesn't even require a password. Just select the hotel network and you're online. We moved down to the bar terrace with a wonderful view of Granada below us and the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains above us. We enjoyed the location so much, we spent hours there talking, drinking beer, and later on dining via the bar menu while we watched a beautiful sunset and enjoyed the view of Granada by night.

We were happy that the room flat screen TV received several stations in English. After a good night's sleep we enjoyed the great breakfast the hotel offers, though we didn't enjoy the 14€ per person price! They also charged 14€/day/car to park our cars. But these costs are perfectly in line with a similar hotel in America.

They were happy to store our luggage after check out so we could spend the day touring Alhambra without having to pay to park in the tourist parking lots.

Hotel Alhambra Palace is a wonderful experience that let us avoid the crowded madhouse of the Granada center on this trip to Alhambra, one of the world's great treasures and most amazing creations.

Room Tip: Rooms on the west side have a wonderful view of Granada beneath the hotel's mountainside locatio...

My husband and I have just spent 3 fabulous nights at Hotel Alhambra. We had a junior suite which was huge. Very modern and clean. Good location. Not far from downtown Granada and only a short walk to the fabulous Palace. Granada would have to be one of my favourite cities in Spain. Lots to do and lots of tapas to be had!
If you do stay here, you must have a drink on the terrace and watch the sun go down. Truly spectacular.

The first hotel to be built near to the wonderful Alhambra Gardens which are but five minutes walk had a wonderful view over the city of Granda which can be viewed from the dining room . There is also a small terrace where you can have drinks giving the same view.
A very relaxed hotel, rooms with everything you would expect, sheet and blankets thankfully.Wide range for breakfast.
