Since I hadnt seen the dance before , I enjoyed it but I 'm not sure whether I would like to see it again . The dance was held in an artificial cave with pots and pans hanging giving it a" nomad feel". Chairs are laid out along the edge of the cave and a drink is offered. The dance is a tap dance and the music has moroccon overtones. Our hotel booked it for us for 30euros. We were picked up and dropped back . On our return they took us to Mirador San Nicholas.

Our hotel booked this for us and we paid 25eur per head. A minibus came along to collect us and we stopped off just after Albaicin so that we could take pics of the Alhambra at night. Then we went up to Sacromonte (a beautiful area, with lots of scarily narrow streets and house built into caves). Zambra Gitana El Rocio has been established for many years and it's a family that performs in the cave. You sit around the edge of the cave - I don't think it fits more than about 40 people and they give you a glass of sangria (without the fruit). The performance is a good mixture of examples of the girls dancing with castanets, solos, flamenco guitar and singing. OK, so it's a tiny bit touristy but if you're on a short weekend break and don't have time to be researching other bars it's recommended. We particularly didn't want a tour that included a lacklustre dinner, so this was ideal.
