“lovely hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 September 2011

Helpful and friendly staff, a lovely breakfast and a really nice room. We had the attic suite, it wasn't a suite more like a large room with a really lovely bathroom. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would stop again.

Room Tip: Try the attic suite, it's on its own on the 5th floor and there is only one lift out of the two...

The hotel is very well located (close to great restaurants and very close to the cathedral), has a charming decoration and the rooms are recently refurbished in a modern decoration. The hotel has a great price for its offer, really worth it! The breakfast is ok (coffee provided by coffee machines, which is not my favorite). Totally recommend it!!!

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and found the hotel to be modern and clean, complete with hi-tec lift! the room it self was clean and well air conditioned, balcony onto plaza which was lovely and at 9pm each night you can see and listen to all the blackbirds!!the noise from the square is fine ,if you shut the windows there is no noise!!Shower is a bit annoying as the water doesn't run away and stays in the base , which could oveflow if you have a long shower, also temperature and flow hard to guage till you get the hang of it.
Apart from that a pretty good hotel in central area ideal for all attractions and buses to everywhere, about 20 mins by bus from train station- number 3 or 33.
Staff were fine and welcoming but not chatty if you like that sort of thing!!

We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking Plaza Trinidad. Room was smaller than other hotels in Spain but very nicely decorated - bathroom was great. Hotel itself does not have very many amenities - free wireless throughout but no computers for guest to use. Overall, great value and a nice stay.

This hotel is centrally located in a relatively quite (traffic-free) street and very close to all the city attractions. Alhambra palace, Generalife and Albayzin are at a walking distance from the hotel (~15 minutes). The hotel is kind of small but very modern, and the furniture is contemporary and looks almost new. The elevator is a state-of-the-art with a fully-digital control panel. The breakfast room is also small with a few tables, and I only ate there once. There are so many cafes just around the corner, where you can eat breakfast with a lot cheaper price. I was given a room with a king size bed on the 2nd floor in the back of the hotel, so I didn't hear any outside noise. The safe-box in the room is intuitive and easy to use, so no worries about your passport and valuable items.
One advice is to avoid rip-offs in tourist restaurants behind the hotel (Plaza Bib-Rambla) as they serve the worst food you could imagine (almost fast-food style) and overpriced.

Room Tip: Make a reservation a least two months in advance

This is a great Hotel as far as location is concerned. It is in the smack centre of lovely Granada and all the major sites are nearby. However, due to the good location it also suffers from outside noise that only a hotel in the middle of it all has to deal with. People love to party late in granada and we had a hard time sleeping at night hearing all sorts of people talk & yell though the wee ours of the morning. My wife and I only managed to get 2-3 hours of sleep per night. we had to sleep rather late to make up. If you drive there take a deep breath because the city is not exactly car friendly and finding the hotel can be quite challenging. The car park is several streets away and at 16 euros a day its not exactly the best deal ever. The place is relatively modern and yes very clean but the rooms lack character and seem rather clinical in style. The TV plasma screens are a nice touch. The down side if you are English speaking is that you only get 2 finance related channels which bore you to death. If you speak french or italian no luck there. These are yes minimal things which you could get beyond as all hotels have compromises to deal with..Saying that the next time around I will be looking for another place in a quieter area and maybe with a more local traditional touch.

Our travel agent booked this hotel for us and I have to say it was a great find. Centrally located, clean and very contemporary with helpful staff. Certainly worth staying whilst in town.
