“Central location”
Reviewed 3 January 2012

The hotel is located very centrally in a small street. If you have a car, the location is not so suitable for you as the car has to be parked somewhere else. We walked everywhere (we like to walk) and took a taxi to the Alhambra, which is also not far away.
Our room overlooked the square and some have mentioned the noisy birds in the morning. With windows closed, I couldn't hear them and slept very well. The rooms are modern with nice design and the breakfast was fine. When going to the Alhambra very early in the morning, they made sure we could have breakfast before the usual time. Staff was friendly. Only not so nice thing was that the room smelled a tiny bit like smoke although we had asked for a non-smoking room.

Sorry to ding this otherwise decent hotel. True it is well located and rooms are adequate for the price. And the front desk staff is terrific--- professional, friendly, efficient. But the hotel is located on a very busy and noisy corner. The rooms have not been sound-proofed with double-paned glass and/or heavy curtains. After the first sleepless night we moved to an inside room on the air well. Unfortunately we were awakened by the early breakfast preparations that echoed up the well. For this reason alone we would not recommend the Trinidad.

Room Tip: Ask for high, quiet, inside, not on air well.

Unassuming little place right in the heart of Granada. Most rooms open onto the streeet or plaza. Corner rooms have 3 sets of windows you can open for the breeze---but if it's a weekend, the locals may be a bit loud outside! Great location within walking distance of the Cathedral and loads of shops and eateries. Rooms are "compact" but toally modernized with great bathrooms. Reaaly cool place, staff is very welcoming.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the interior courtyard if you're a light sleeper.

Just back from a week in Spain, took in a two day visit to Granada. Stumbled upon Trinidad Square, which was really attractive and then found the Hotel Trinidad. Rooms clean, new refitted bathroom. Room a little small but it was right on the end, so other rooms might be larger. Ask for a room overlooking the square and you can step out onto the balcony and watch the world go by. Really good quality huge buffet breakfast which will set you up for the day and open till 11 am. Never got to visit Alhambra cos it bucketed down all day but great to get lost wandering the streets in this wonderful old town. You can also take the newly opened motorway ( toll 3 euros ) through the mountains back to the coast

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the square

We stayed one night following a six day bicycle tip through Andalucia. The modern renovation is pleasing to the eye but a bit impractical for the weary traveler. The bathroom sink leaves little room for personal items to be placed along the side, and the bed side tables are really mini bookcases which are not easily accessible from bed. Modern maybe, but not useful.

Other than these few faux pas, the hotel was pleasant and the personnel helpful.

Very nicely designed hotel with everything you'd want. Great location, friendly and efficient staff, very relaxed.

The room we had was spacious and comfortable, with a decent bathroom (there have been other comments here about the wet-room aspect of this, which didn't really pose a problem. If you had a seriously long shower you might risk the water overflowing out of the shower, but there is a drain nearby to cope with this). The room was on the inside courtyard and so protected from the noise of the square- something worth considering if you are there on a Friday or Saturday night, as there are a couple of (very nice) late bars there.

A couple of niggles: there was an orange security light above the door which couldn't be switched off, and was a bit irritating. And at 7.30 in the morning the staff could be heard clattering plates and using a very loud kitchen device, which was not necessarily nice.

Overall goo, despite this.

Room Tip: An inside room to avoid any noise from the square.

Although our corner room on the 2nd floor was relatively small we couldn't fault the cleanliness and quality and the price was excellent. As mentioned in previous reviews it is conveniently located to the shopping precinct. Excellent soundproofing from other guests in the hotel and the birds in the park across the road. Highly recommend.
