This place is welcoming enough and is on a good street in a touristic location. After mulling over the menu, we decided to give it a try having been a bit 'up to the ears' in tapas.
The waiters are friendly and were happy to recommend the hamburgers (you'll hear the meat described as "Buey" which I guess is Ox). The prices are OK and there's a little picture of a burger (in a roll) in case you've been living in a cave for the last 100 years and don't know what one is.
After a long-ish wait, say 20 minutes (hardly fast food) our dishes turned up. Beef burger - no roll - dumped on a plate with some skinny fries and a bit of salad. Now, I hadn't asked for a diet or roll-free burger and the photo on the menu clearly illustrated a burger in a roll.
We complained and was told that it was their interpretation of a burger. Did we want a couple of pieces of bread? No, we wanted a burger. No ifs, no buts, just a burger. We didn't really want a Spanish arguing the toss either.
We didn't hang around. Massive disappointment.
