The rooms are simple, small but clean and airy. The room that I got had a balcony too.
Its very close to main attractions. Royal chapel, alhamra and albyzin are all within 20 minutes walk. The bus stop is also nearby and there are a lot of shops / restaurants. service is very friendly.
U cant get a better room in granada in this price (Euro 22 per night, in my case).

Room Tip: u can get very cheap room if u r ok with having a room without a toilet. U have to share a common to...

Receptionist was really friendly!Even though it was for 4 pax, was really spacious and didnt feel cramped at all. room was clean, so was the bathroom. had a balcony overlooking the street. consistent hot water throughout. location was excellent and really easy to find! within walking distance to everything. :) enjoyed our stay here!

I stayed there with my sister and we really enjoyed it. It is very conveniently located by one of the main square of Granada and just at the foot of the hill leading to the Alhambra, THE thing to see while in the city! The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful; they answered all our queries and advised us as to where to eat or go. It is better than any hostel I've stayed in, even though it is obviously not a 3-star. They cleaned our (private) room every day, which I thought was nice. I read about the noise level while booking it and, in fairness, we were not bothered at all by any noise. Fair enough there may be a bit of noise coming from the main square but not that much.
Also, there is free wifi in the rooms, which is really convenient.
Oh, nearly forgot, we booked a room with shared bathroom and, the bathroom was always available and clean even though a bit old-looking. The only negative thing was the size of the towels provided (only hand towels), but other than that, a very good budget hostel/hotel. Would recommend to anyone on a budget and in search of a good night's sleep.

Room Tip: Maybe ask 4 a side street room if you sleep light

As the other reviewers have mentioned, it is near to everything - restaurants, bus stop to Alhambra, souvenir shops, & churches. However, the downside is that all the noise from outside can be heard from the room & it's difficult to rest & sleep. Things quiet down at night, but the screeching of cars & taxis can be heard starting at 5 am & it's difficult to go back to sleep.
If you can afford a more expensive place which is far from the main street but still waking distance from main sights or transportation, then do so.

This is a little hotel great if you're not looking for any luxuries but a basic, clean place to stay. It has free wi fi in all the hotel. There aren't many other amenities. There's no hair dryer and in our bathroom it was a little hard to shower since the movable shower didn't have a holder so I always had to grab the shower on one hand and wash with the other, but still this was a minimal annoyance.
On the first floor there's a small room with a couple of couches and a tv as well as a coffee machine and tea in case you want to relax there.
The best thing about this hotel is it's location. It's two steps from Plaza Nueva where there are multiple restaurants and a 2 minute walk from the Gran Vía which is one of the main streets in Granada and there are a lot of stores, eateries, and also many buses stop along this street to take you everywhere you might want to go Granada. Also, the Cathedral is also located here (a 5 min walk from the hotel). More importantly the hotel is located on the same street that goes to the Alhambra and they'll tell you it's a 20 minute walk to the Alhambra, but and this is a big but the 20 minute walk is up a very steep hill and it's only to the base of the Alhambra. If you want to go to the main entrance it's more than double that distance and up the hill. So, if you want to go to the Alhambra catch a bus on Plaza Nueva or Gran Vía (a lot of them go and it's very easy to read Alhambra on their route sign or the front of the bus). Then, if you exit the Alhambra through the Alcazar or Palacios Nazaríes you can walk down to the hotel, it's even maybe less than 20 minutes and more important it's downhill.

The location cannot be beaten -- on the corner of the road to Alhambra, and right in the thick of things. What this place lacks in Andalusian character (it is an ordinary 19th-century European building) it makes up for in its staff. All the staff (except one!) were so kind, helpful and friendly. They behaved like family, though their English was very limited. Noise came in from the street in the daytime, but this dissipated late at night.

I have already been in Pension Britz three times and I´m very satisfied. The stuff is kind, friendly and helpful, offer very good prices, and everything is kept clean. I booked easily online through their website, and I never experienced any trouble with check in or out. All three times I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. The bathrooms are always clean. The rooms are sunny and cozy, and equipped with all the basic furniture and washing basins. There are many facilities like central heating, internet connection and a TV room with a microwave, a coffee machine and a cold drinks machine. The place is right in the centre of Granada and is facing one of the city´s most popular squares, Plaza Nueva. It is also in between the two beautiful neighbourhoods of Albayzin and Realejo. It is very easy to access by car or taxi, unlike many other streets of Granada centre. I´m overall very satisfied, and staying here is something I would recommend to everyone.
