On arrival were assigned to Room 412. When asked how did they know we are on our honeymoon, the very nice man at reception said "We knew". He has always time to chat to us and my wife even had one to one spanish language tutorial with him. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Granadinos..fantastic people!!
In the morning, if you roll out of bed, becareful you may fall into the Alhambra compound!! The walk downhill to town through the woods is wonderful, really set you going with a bit of exercise in the morning-or uphill on the way back -build your appetite for a good dinner at the restaurant.
The view from the room is wonderful..the sunset is like a Turner's painting! Who needs TV when the view is so good?l
Behind the hotel there is a walking path through the olive grove with a great view down the Granada valley & Sierra Nevada.
Food at the resturant is fantastic..try the Rabo del Toro! or the Veal steak.. Wow
Through the reception you can book tickets to see Flamenco & Albaicin night walk, tickets will be efficiently allocated in your room pigeonhole. (The people at the Alhambra Palace Hotel apparently couldn't manage to do this simple booking right!!)
