“Right next to Alhambra”
Reviewed 10 June 2014 via mobile

Room was comfortable, we had the buffet both nights and there was a good selection of food. Breakfast was also good. Not close to town but ideally suited to Alhambra. Tourist hop on hop off bus, and local bus, one minute walk away.

Pool area was very nice.

Staff we felt were very good.

They had parking for our motorbike :-)

This was the last two days of a six day tour with Riviera Travel. Excellent 4 star hotel with friendly staff and good rooms. Very convenient for the Alhambra Palace 5-10 minute downhill walk from the hotel. and 25 minute walk to Granad town centre, again all downhill, take the bus back. Good wifi access even in our fourth floor room.
Buffet restaurant is good value for an evening meal.

Room Tip: There's probably not much to choose between rooms

this is a nice budget hotel in Granada.. it is right across from the Alhambra so that was a plus.. it is like any tourist hotel.. clean appropriate rooms.. decent breakfast ..the best part is the location right across from the alahambra and close to the bus stop that take into town....

I took a group of students to this hotel for a couple of nights in May, 2014 and found that its proximity to the Alhambra made up for any deficiencies in any other area. The breakfasts were alright, nothing special to brag about, but the hotel was clean, the rooms were nice and it was within a five minute walk to the Alhambra. All-in-all good value for its proximity to the Alhambra. Lots a tourist groups staying there so it was very busy. One could take a taxi or public bus into the center of Granada.

You cant argue with the location, seconds away from the Alhambra. When we arrived our GPS actually took us to the Alhambra parking area, which as it turns out was fortuitous as when we did check in we were told that they had no more parking available, but that the rates were the same as the Alhambra parking, so we ended up just leaving the car there. It was no hassle walking the VERY short distance from the car to the hotel.
The room was clean, but very small. The bathroom was clean and again very small but had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Our room had a wonderful view and balcony.
There really want much wrong with the hotel, it was just not very exceptional and for the price for 3 people for 1 night, way overpriced especially as parking or breakfast is not included in the price.

I would only recommend this hotel to someone coming for 2-3 days esp to see the Alhambra as it is really 5min away. Otherwise stay near the cathedral and get the 30 bus up.It's the last stop so easy. There are only 2 staff on reception so there is always a Q. Not a pleasant smile among them (except the cleaner). They all look miserable The swimming pool doesn't open til 11. Just found out towels for the pool are free from reception no one had told us (so a Q again). My room is very small dark and depressing, I've never liked bars on windows. Breakfast is fine all the normal stuff you get abroad and you are greeted with the now familiar grunt of what room number. I nearly forgot the drilling coming from the next rooms along.
