“Perfect for the Alhambra; some distance from old city”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

This hotel could not have been better situated for visiting the Alhambra and Festival activities in its grounds.

Room are spacious (with two chairs!) but the beds are very hard - as are the pillows.

A very good buffet breakfast is included in the very reasonable room price.

Staff are helpful (in English!).

Taxi fares to the old city and other areas of interest are cheap by UK standards and the bus stop is adjacent to the hotel.

Bedroom very clean and comfortable but no view from window. Reception area very welcoming and good selection for breakfast. Excellent location if you are visiting the Alhambra but a fair distance down very steep and windy road to centre of Granada. Local bus and taxi rank very close to hotel. We used the bus on the first evening to get into centre of Granada - quite an experience and not one which we wanted to repeat as the bus was extremely full and journey very bumpy.

A very nice hotel! Staff were every friendly and spoke good English. Food was good, we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner (buffets). The lobby is wide and nice, we enjoyed watching the World Cup football games. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the hotel is next on a hill next to Alhambra Palace, between its gradens, so if you want to go to the cupity center at night (like we did bcz there was nothing next to the hotel) you have to cross the gardens (go down the hills) but the problem is when you want to get back: you've got to climb the hill and believe me it's not easy! But still a nice and scary adventure at night is good ;)

A pleasant hotel in a superb location that attracts visitors from across the globe. There's a small covered terrace at the front of the hotel to take pre dinner drinks where we sat each evening. The food was varied and good with a chef on hand who cooked meat and fish to order. Sadly though, he failed to grasp the concept of cook to order as he always had the food already cooked and going cold. We'd rather wait and watch our food being cooked. The prices were comparable if not less than those in the UK for good quality wines. Overall, a pleasant place to stay with extremely helpful reception staff.

Room Tip: A room overlooking the hotel frontage was ideal and peaceful.

A pleasant enough hotel. Perfect for access to the Alhambra. Buffet dinner good value, though perhaps a bit the choices are a bit eclectic. Most rooms either look out on to trees or into lightwells - so no real views. There are three small patios; one by the front door, one by the swimming pool and one on the 4th floor (not open when we stayed) - so nowhere really to sit and enjoy an evening outside.

Excellent location on Alhambra fences, 3 minutes to gates. Easy access by foot and bus to the Cathedral and Rambla Center, The Hotel has an excellent variety for breakfast, but I would like to suggest the buffet dinner. It was so "gusto" that I talked about it the rest of our trip.

Very pleasant hotel with lovely pool not many sunbeds though (wouldn't recommend for children it is fairly deep) Swimming towels supplied. The shower was brill and plenty of hot water. Didn't try the restaurante but the bar prices are reasonable compared to many hotel prices. Friendly reception. If one complaint felt hassled the morning we checked out the maid positioned her trolley outside my door and asked me twice what time I was leaving, this was 9.15 and check out is midday officially. Although it says hotel parking available but not bookable in advance we had to leave the car in the Alhambra car park and it cost 18€ 24 hours.
