“Nice Hotel in the center of town”
Reviewed 21 December 2013

A very nice and clean hotel right in the center. Located on a pedestrian street full of bars and restaurants, you will never stay hungry. Just few meters walking to bus stop that will take you to Alhambra. Also very short walking to cathedral, Albaicín area and other major plazas where they celebrated Christmas markets. If you are coming with a car, take into account 20 EURO parking fare in the near by parking lot per day. Pity the hotel doesn't have some kind of arrangement for cheaper parking for the hotel guests.

Centrally located (literally in the famous tapas street). Tidy and clean. Lovely and very nice receptionist! The older receptionist was our favorite. He helped us few times with information and other things. The breakfast was generous! The best creamy cappuccino we had in Andalucia.
What are not so great: although the room is soundproofing, the hall is not. So in the middle of the night we could hear someone opened a door or simply just walked in the hall. Quite annoying. Also, the room has no tea facility, but you can simply call the receptionist and she/he will bring a hot water and tea for you so problem solved :)

Nevertheless, this hotel fulfill our expectations: cleanliness, location, good breakfast and reasonable price. So we might return to this hotel on our next visit.

Just returned from a trip to Granada and stayed at Hotel Navas. As other reviews state this is a centrally located hotel, the rooms are clean and adequate with good comfortable bed (well the one in our room), there was a fridge (not a mini bar) which was handy.
The hotel is situated on a busy pedestrian street which has lots of tapas bars to choose from.
The street can be noisy but even though our room was to the front with the double glazed windows closed the room was quiet.
The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food which I'm sure most people would find something to eat.
Very clean hotel all over and staff were polite and helpful.
Can't think of any negatives from my stay.
Would certainly recommend this hotel.
Tip on sightseeing, many of the sights can't be reached by large buses. We bought a credi card (like an oyster card) for two euros and top up this is cheaper than hop on hop off, can be used on both bus services (get the 2euros back at end of trip from bus driver.

Room Tip: If you think noise will annoy ask for a rear room, but as stated the double gaze does keep the noise...

Location is very central , with many places being within walking distance . The main bus stops for Alhambra and Albyzin are also quite close .
Very good eating places in front of the hotel and also close by.
Staff are very helpful and nice .
Rooms are small . The Hotel is suitable for budget conscious travellers like us.

Our room was clean, bright and comfortable. It was facing the busy street – nice for atmosphere, but earplugs are advisable when trying to rest! The breakfast buffet was just okay – could be improved with a little more variety. Above all the location is excellent: close to buses 30 to Alhambra and 31 to Albayzin (Mirador San Nicolas); places of interest (La Madraza); shopping (bought a beautiful hand-painted fan for a friend at Candido Peurto on Calle Salamanca); and a myriad of restaurants (try the wonderful tapas at the Alhambra café “La Tapa Tradicional” down a street from the cathedral at the little plaza on Calle Pescaderia – the café has stools/tables outside with heating lamps for those cooler evenings when one still enjoys eating al fresco listening to the street musicians.)

Granada is such a splendid little gem, and this hotel is the perfect place to stay.
The rooms are small, but very comfortable. The location is wonderful - on a pedestrian-only street lined with fantastic restaurants. It's right in the city centre - a short walk to the Alhambra, and tons of fantastic shopping. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
My only advice is not to drive to the hotel. Granada's centre is very difficult to access by car, and with the hotel on a pedestrian-only street it took us a long time to figure out what to do.
I would definitely come back and stay at the Navas Hotel again!
