“Incredible free views of the Alhambra”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

This is a perfect spot for photos of the Alhambra, and the ice creams on sale in nearby shop are gorgeous to relieve the heat. All the restaurants nearby are very pricey so be prepared if you plan a meal.

“Great views across Granada and of the Alhambra”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

Always busy, especially in the evening when people just sit and look out over the city and at the setting sun and the Alhambra lit by floodlight. There are several places to visit nearby including several small churches and a Mosque with well cared for gardens. There are also many restaurants nearby where you can eat looking at looking out at the view. If you walked up from the Alhambra side you can continue walking up the hill the view opens up to the other side of the city from where you can meander back down through many small residential streets and squares.

“Spectacular view of the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

Catch a taxi to get here, only a few euros as it's all uphill. You can drink Sangria for 5.50 euros at the surrounding bars and cafés or you can buy a 1.5 litre bottle of Sangria from the downstairs mini mart for 2 euros and listen to the gypsies play their Spanish guitars at the plaza and watch the colours of the Alhambra change with the setting sun.

“The best place for Alhambra's views”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

St. Nicolas square. The square is always busy as it offers one of the best views of Alhambra. If you want to have a table for a dinner at the St. Nicolas square you have to come and wait – as the places there are almost always full. People just sit and have some drinks and enjoy the views. They are spectacular!

“flamenco was free”

Stiff limbs from the walk up and cobbles make it harder but the view of the alhambra was more than worth the climb , as was the informal gypsy busking session, before the hat came round. So, breathtaking in every sense.
