Expected more, but u cant be in alhambra and miss the visit, the view from the too top at the alhambra fortress is one of the reason why u should walk to ths top, enjoy a morrocon tea at one of the restaurants at the top of the mountain with the sunset view with the fortress in the back ground. Getting up with the baby stroller is a bit exhausting u can get up with a car as well

Really nice walk up to Mirador de San Nicolas. Looks amazing from Alhambra - basically a Pueblo Blanco.

An amazing area of the Grenada - picturesque and atmospheric and from the terrace you get a wonderful view of The Alhambra. As we didn't have a lot of time in Grenada, I am glad we managed to see Albayzin. My favourite bit was walking through the bazaar as it reminded me of Morocco/ Turkey. A beautiful old town, worth spending a few hours there to soak in the atmosphere. We had a lovely dinner at a tapas restaurant recommended in the guidebook, which was a good end to the day.

A wonderful area, thru which to stroll at ones leisure, and perhaps take lunch, brunch, afternoon snacks, dinner - with tapas, paella, cocktails, sangria, beers and wines to nourish the soul, and ample opportunity to sit back and people watch, while the world passes by.

Buskers in this part of the world, can be priceless entertainment, with some fine musicians playing their hearts out, to bring joy to al fresco diners, strollers et al...

With Alhambra across the way, magnificent on it's hill top pedestal, there is much to see, feel, smell, touch, taste and ENJOY !!!

my wife and I visited Granada primarily to visit the Alhambra( big let down-see separate review).this was however the highlight of the holiday. don't bother getting a guided tour-just arm yourself with a tourist map and lose yourself in the narrow little streets. don't miss the house of artist max moreau (a little gem) and the market at the end of your journey. maybe finish off with a meal in one of the middle eastern cafes/restaurants.we tried a couple both great( unfortunately lost their names)
