Owner description: As in its origin, the Arab baths are made up three spaces created by water pools at different temperatures and which give their name to the hot, warm and cold rooms. Each client is free to choose their own route through these spaces while respecting our team´s guidelines for use in order to enjoy an optimun experience of tradition. The route, which is accompained by Andalusian music, is completed with the steam room, the relaxation room - where clients can enjoy a typical tea - and the hot stone room, in which they can receive a massage or Ritual of their choice. Our clients feel transported in time and allow themselves to be guided on a journey through the exotic sensuallity of the mythical Al Andalus. Upon leaving, the Alhambra greets them only a few metres away with a vision that rounds off their experience of the past.

Having been to Istanbul and Budapest, I can say that this is an authentically reconstructed hammam on the site of what is reported to be the site of the original bath of the Alhambra, or one of them; it is located at the foot of the mountain of the Alhambra and they have taken care to design it as authentically as possible. The lights are dim, the air is slightly humid with a scent of spice and essential oil. The massage is exceptional and at 43 euros (with the Alhambra visit discount) it works out to be comparable to NY City massage prices. So, not a bargain, but no more expensive than what I might pay here at home. Get the 30 minute massage and hope you are assigned to Lola. Fantastic hands and very attentive. There is also tea to drink and three different baths of varied temps (Hot, medium and cold). The rules and orientation are a little confusing, but nothing stressful. Treat yourself; you're on vacation.

Our family went to the Hammam Al Andalus Granada during a recent family vacation in Spain. My husband has never experienced anything like this before and repetitively told me how much he liked it. (Coincidentally, he had a back spasm that am and it disappeared after his time at the baths.) The kessa was also a unique (and cleansing) experience. DEFINITELY DO IT!!!

The baths in granada exceeded my expectations. The facilities are absolutely stunning - beautiful mosaic tile, candles and lanterns EVERYWHERE, cave-like ceilings. Everything was sparkling clean and the atmosphere was incredibly quiet and relaxing. Because they restrict the number of people (you must have a reservation) it is never crowded. They also serve delicious tea inside.

I've traveled the world extensively and this is a must see attraction. Take a guided tour, much better to gain more knowledge.

The popularity of this attraction was evident in the sold-out bath times that we encountered as we called to schedule a 8 PM visit at 10 AM same-day; we ended up being able to reserve a 10 PM slot. We arrived and were shown the surprisingly pretty changing rooms, from which we entered the main bath rooms. Our host explained that there were 3 baths (cold, warm, and hot), a sauna, a tea-drinking area, a hot stone area, and the massage section. They invited us to enjoy the various areas until they called us for massages, as a couple, later on in our 1.5 hour long bath experience. We hopped between each of the baths and the sauna, enjoying the intense sauna, relaxing hot bath, and romantic medium bath. Then, we were called on for our massages. I opted for a strong, concentrated massage while my girlfriend went with a full-body experience. Although the massages lasted just 15 minutes, we both agreed that it was the best massage experience we'd each ever had. Afterwards, we showered quickly to get the oils off and then enjoyed the baths again for the remainder of the time. We would love to go back, and next time, would possibly opt for the 30 minute massages.

Dear AndrewN5864,
We appreciate your comments and rating.
Besides of that we are pleased that you liked our facilities and massage. But above all, there is no better news for us that a client tell us that he would come back.
Thank you again.
