Owner description: As in its origin, the Arab baths are made up three spaces created by water pools at different temperatures and which give their name to the hot, warm and cold rooms. Each client is free to choose their own route through these spaces while respecting our team´s guidelines for use in order to enjoy an optimun experience of tradition. The route, which is accompained by Andalusian music, is completed with the steam room, the relaxation room - where clients can enjoy a typical tea - and the hot stone room, in which they can receive a massage or Ritual of their choice. Our clients feel transported in time and allow themselves to be guided on a journey through the exotic sensuallity of the mythical Al Andalus. Upon leaving, the Alhambra greets them only a few metres away with a vision that rounds off their experience of the past.

“Very enjoyable, but room for improvement”
Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

I had a fantastic time here at the baths. It is a little confusing to know what is expected of you at first but after a brief introduction you get into it. I paid for the full service extended massage with scrub. The scrub seemed very brief and light handed, and the massage, although pleasant, could have been firmer and more focused. Also the scented oil could be more scented.
I really enjoyed the baths themselves: cold, hot and warm. The steam room was lovely, but could have been hotter and steamier. The tea is amazing!
Over all a great experience, just some notes for the staff to work on.
A must do in Granada!!

“Unforgettable experience, 5 stars”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

nice atmosphere, delightful, great massage... I just wish they would let us stay longer, but at the same time it is nice that they limit the number of people allowed, our group had only 12/15 people. Just be mindful to keep your voice low, we were there w/ group of British women and they were so loud....

~ Don't miss if you're in Granada :)

“Just beautiful”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

We had made no plans other than an Alhambra tour for our trip to Granada which left us able to take a couple of hours out to experience the traditional Hammam baths and we are so glad we did. They are just stunning. The whole experience was fantastic. The place is immaculate, so clean and perfectly presented. Everything was explained to us in English (and Spanish) and we had a superbly relaxing time going through the hot and cool baths, plunge pool and beautiful steam room. We just went for the baths (no massage) and it was well worth the 24€. You just need a swimming costume and they provide towels, lovely mint tea, soaps etc.. They make the whole thing very easy and chilled. We were so relaxed we just floated around the Alhambra afterwards. Can't wait for an opportunity to go back.

“Great massage and relaxing bath”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Having been to Istanbul and Budapest, I can say that this is an authentically reconstructed hammam on the site of what is reported to be the site of the original bath of the Alhambra, or one of them; it is located at the foot of the mountain of the Alhambra and they have taken care to design it as authentically as possible. The lights are dim, the air is slightly humid with a scent of spice and essential oil. The massage is exceptional and at 43 euros (with the Alhambra visit discount) it works out to be comparable to NY City massage prices. So, not a bargain, but no more expensive than what I might pay here at home. Get the 30 minute massage and hope you are assigned to Lola. Fantastic hands and very attentive. There is also tea to drink and three different baths of varied temps (Hot, medium and cold). The rules and orientation are a little confusing, but nothing stressful. Treat yourself; you're on vacation.

Our family went to the Hammam Al Andalus Granada during a recent family vacation in Spain. My husband has never experienced anything like this before and repetitively told me how much he liked it. (Coincidentally, he had a back spasm that am and it disappeared after his time at the baths.) The kessa was also a unique (and cleansing) experience. DEFINITELY DO IT!!!
